You can definitely see that the PS4 version looks a bit more detailed...and that that native res is definitely helping. Isn't by much....but it is there. However I also read that DICE said they could match native resolutions on the XB1 with the PS4 version in time for launch. Who knows....

where did you read the matching reso thing.

So wait, the final build of the Xbox One isn't out there yet? Where were these guys reviewing the games?!?!!!?!!!

Seem's the PC 360 and PS3 have been reviewd as normal PS4 and X1 was at some event? Thus why people are bitching about video capture???? This is a PR diaster for EA.....

I'll try to find it. Would kind of fall in line as well with what others are saying about not having the final versions...I don't know this is all weird.
In motion though both versions as is look pretty identical...with a slight nod to the PS4 version of course.

Ps4 grass looks better where xb1 gravel looks better. What is more important to you I guess? also in the middle left edge xb1 version has a few more strands of grass over the rock ftw to some.

TBH....from what I have seen in the vids....I personally like the OVERALL look of the XB1 version. That is going to be the console I get the game on.

Crying at NeoGAF begins
Xbox One version undoubtable looks better visually. Now they are saying its because of the YouTube and MP will be better on PS4 LMAO.
Seriously, I love reading comments on that site.

Trust me, the same delusional conversations are occurring on this site as well. As a customer of both companies, I find it highly entertaining though, so carry on......

I have not read any of the reviews because this was my first stop this morning. Have any of the reviewers gone into any lenght to explain to there readers about how they had to do these reviews and possibly not with final builds of the game? To me it makes all the reviews whether good or bad for either system inaccurate. I think they should also rereview these games once they have a retail system and game.

From Aegis' BF4 review:

Unfortunately, at this time, we can't provide final verdicts for either the Xbox One or PS4 versions of the game. Microsoft has specified that review scores must be held until Nov. 12th at 9:00AM PST, and we were not given the opportunity to play the Xbox One version's multiplayer component. Regarding PS4, there were serious stability issues that repeatedly led to crashes after multiplayer matches concluded. As the PS4 is still more than two weeks away from its Nov. 15th launch date, it seems premature to assume that this issue will not be resolved — and penalizing the game this far from the PS4's launch doesn't seem especially fair. We will further evaluate both next-generation versions of Battlefield 4 once they launch on their respective platforms next month.

And then this:

but we're not scoring either PS4 or xbox one versions of battlefield 4 until we can play them on retail servers.

PC Gamer gives BF 4 an 84/100.

"DICE is certainly guilty of taking an “if it ain’t broke” attitude to creating BF4, but its modest multiplayer refinements alongside excellent maps are enough to make it one of our favorite current FPSes. A cynic would call BF4 a deluxe map pack in sequel’s clothing. If that’s your predisposition, know that it’s at least a wonderful map pack, one with enough variety, depth, and quality to survive a year of intense play."

Like Ketto said..mental gymnastics.

People really doing scientific research to figure out why the X1 version looks as good as it does.

Having said that, I'll probably get the PS4 version since I'm tired of jaggies. Depends on how the online services start out.
