That said, I dont care for PC gaming anyway, as I prefer the console experience. That said, a good PC is still going to stomp the consoles.

Until I see proof to the contrary, I'll hold that opinion. Just the cost factor makes it impossible, and I have doubts about the I/O hype. Nothing has demonstrated and I'm beyond finished with the unproven proclamations of some magical breakthrough.

If things allegedly could look better or not doesn't change what is and what isn't.

ON PC

No adventure/rpg game comes close to Demon's Souls.
No open world game comes close to Spider-Man MM.
Never seen a platformer that deserves to be in the same sentence as Rachet & Clank PS5.

Horizon ZD which was made to run on a measly 1.8TF's gives much higher TF's PC's performance issues.

Can't just go by numbers these consoles don't have close to the bottlenecks that the PC does,use CUSTOM components,OSes made for gaming,game development isn't AS hampered by supporting ancient tech like PC games are and far superior devs.

Unfortunately XSX exclusives will be held back by this as will 3rd party games.
On the PS5 side they share the same setbacks with 3rd party games AND PS4 still being supported in "SOME" cases.

People need to stop acting as if every PC is top spec or even high spec, whenever people talk about PC gaming they make it seem like PC 's are like consoles where they all have the same capabilities etc and nothing could be further from the truth. I'm not saying you do that but that's generally how things seem to go in PC vs console discussions. Most people don't have the latest and greatest or even last gens latest and greatest GPU's or CPU's let alone huge amounts of memory and fast storage.
 
Who knows we might see PC games in the future that require an SSD to play.

If you look at the last steam survey, most had a middleish tier set up. I mean when was the Geforce 1060 GPU ever the best of the best.

Maybe in a couple years but they will still be drastically slower than what these consoles use.

"Most" 3rd party games sell significantly better on console so publishers don't want to alienate the larger weak spec market by removing support for ancient tech...they need all the sales they can get.
3rd party games having fast nvme drives as the minimum will likely not happen for a long time.

Doesn't bode well for the PS5 next gen patch does it? You'll have to settle with low raytrace reflections, no raytrace shadows, and low ray trace global illumination, if you are lucky to have that. A mix of low/med high graphics settings with dynamic resolution is the best you'll likely get.

This is a Dice game. It will have a bazillion bugs and stability problems that won't have anything to do with console warz.

I think you misspelled Bethesda. Oh, wrong thread, but I think it's every bit possible they somehow found a way to write bugs so bad they self-replicate into other games.

It would if CDPR weren't such s***ty PC based devs. 🤷‍♂️
If they used the strengths of the PS5 it would be.

Dynamic res you say but PC is running fake resolutions.

Nobody is running that mess with current gen resolution 4K/Settings and getting good performance.

The best example A 3090 can give all the visuals required nets a solid 30-about 50 fps with fake 4K.
Most don't own such a card and quite frankly those results aren't good enough so if I was a PC fanboy id be quiet.

I'll take the Dlss hardware based "fake" 4K better image quality and performance over native 4K.

Not sure what the video or Remedy has to do with what I been saying.

That FAKE 4K does not look as good and LOL @ the 3090/PC Gaming getting 22 FPS in real 4K with Cyber Punk.

I see you ignored the DF footage of Death Stranding. Since you have little patience, DF says DLSS 2.0 4K > native 4K. The end.

Now let's get back on topic with BF6 or create a thread about how the PS5 is being treated unfairly. Game devs are the enemy of the people, I'll tell ya.

Not sure why you would mention Control.

If it looked better or not LOL@ the best PC card getting 22fps and below 60fps with fake 4K.
Hardly a brag worthy gaming format.

Nothing you said changes what I said.
Better looking games will be on the PS5 than PC.

We can get back on topic.

Won't be buying BF6 on PC as the cheating will be terrible.

In DS it might be better because of the terrible TAA they are using at native, but I have personally experienced in Cyberpunk DLSS even in quality mode cause artifacts (to the point I thought something was wrong) that weren't there in native res. Flashing police lights is the example.

Anyway, back on topic. I really hope that BF6 is a modern military shooter but not too modern. I kinda want a BF2/Gulf War era Battlefield game again. These futuristic gadgets are off putting to me.
