Battlefield V

Well, apparently Dice changed some of the TTK values and left a confusing mess. I still have yet to play, but found this thread on reddit which explains what is good and what isn't. I have to at least jump on and try Wake.

 
Well I tried to give this an honest go. It is just a mess. The guns do little damage at any kind of range. 150-200 meters you may as well be throwing rocks.

You can stay alive almost the entire game if you manage your health.

This "noobifying" of games is a real issue. Everyone is marked on the map almost at all times now like BF1. Not sure what else they changed to do that. There's zero flanking or strategy, as you have a red dot on you the entire game.

It is a real shame. What's hilarious is that Dice have fixed Battlefront 2 but broken this game.

Well, for anyone who's patience hasn't long run out, Dice is finally rolling back most of the TTK changes in the game. It should come out March 4th.

Long story short, they aren't rolling back the exact old numbers, but it looks like very close to it.

The community only told them this was a mistake months ago. :laugh: I'll definitely jump back on and give it a try.

Gave up caring when they changed TTK For the Xmas noobs. They are dumb as f***, and will no doubt mess with it again before too long.

Patch got a slight delay until Thursday (just in case anyone goes looking for it tomorrow).

I'm going to check it out again.
 
I've been playing pretty regularly, due to my mates picking it up and have been having fun, (probably due to all of us on the mic communicating) medic smgs are still absolutely worthless except in close range.

They did revert the time to kill, the problem is it is still too slow. At least it is mostly back the way it was. It still takes forever to take someone down.

They reverted it mostly, distances beyond 100m still take more shots to kill, but not nearly as many as the garbage that was 5.2.

Correct, it is one more bullet beyond 100m usually, but otherwise everything is as it was.
 
I mostly play with the M1 Garand so the revert made the gun usable again and I am very happy.

Yeah every gun should be back the way it was mostly, and the 100 meter thing hit them all the same anyway. Things should be mostly back to the way things were before they messed with the TTK. Still have no clue why they did that. Must have wanted the game to be easy for the new players over the holidays?

Semi auto rifles are definitely good again.

Supposedly they put recoil back in but actually added in more, so on console it may feel less accurate. I know I felt like a potato for a couple of games whihc explains it.
