Better Call Saul picked up by AMC...

Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks have the acting chops, so I'm expecting great things.

Would be awesome to see Giancarlo Esposito return as Gus Fring, as well.
 
It could be interesting... I didn't think Breaking Bad would be worth my time.. Till I gave it a shot on Netflix..
 
Oh yeah, I'm a Breaking Bad freak, I preordered that Complete Series Bluray mega set. Spin off could be great it depends on the writers, hope Vince Gilligan is heavily involved.
 
Could be good. I love Saul, and if they go in a more comedic direction, I think it will work.
It wouldn't need to be as serial and linear as BB. I'd like it to be more like a lawyer show like LA Law or Ally McBeal, but about seedy low lifes. Each episode self contained and dark and funny.
 
Ah did see the trailer, but forgotten about it, thanks for reminding me about the Breaking bad spin-off.
 
Watched Episode 1, lots of cameos, nice. Seems to lack the grit and WTF of BB...thus far, but I will give it a little more chance to see how things go in the next few episodes.

I didn't catch the first episode. I don't watch TV shows much anymore but i do want to watch Better Call Saul after how good Breaking Bad was. I kinda like to wait until a series is over and then just binge watch it on Netflix but this might be the exception.

He's not even Saul Goodman yet.
 
From the previews I didn't think I would like it, but the show has been pretty good so far.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Saul's brother exactly?

It's doing a great job of building the character. I think that's the purpose of this first season. There's really no major story except seeing how he.....
becomes Saul Goodman.
 
Damn good episode tonight. One of the best of any show I've seen.

It is definitely ramping up and the ties to BB are getting more clear. Mike is a great character and I hope they continue his storyline throughout.
 
The last episode kicked things up a notch in a good way for the show. Great episode.
