I want one.
Yeah I would also like one Scarlett Johansen please.

On topic, still debating whether I'm gonna see this in theaters. Might go see it like next week or something when I have an off night. Could also just wait until it hits the streaming rental market because I have all this Google Money sitting around.

This looks entertaining, and I'm still planning on checking it out, but these mediocre Disney Marvel series on Disney+ have decreased my excitement for Marvel a great deal.

I haven't watched Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but Wandavision was great (with a fairly mediocre ending) and Loki has been even better (not watched episode 5 yet). What do you not like about them?

The first two both had rewrites/edits that affected each and wandavision’s had dr strange 2 change things up too. Loki so far is the only one, that we know of, not have anything major changed.

I was expecting considerably better writing and stories for both WandaVision and Falcon & the Winter Soldier. They both had moments I enjoyed, but as a whole didn't provide meaningful stories or character arcs from where things were before the series for my tastes. I felt like they both had extremely unsatisfying endings that left the main characters in virtually the exact same spot they were the last time we saw them, which made both series feel inconsequential at best, or completely pointless wastes of time at worst. I haven't started Loki yet, as I've been expecting more of the same. TBH, I vastly preferred Netflix's first few Marvel series outings to what Disney has given us so far, which is the opposite of what I was expecting. More of the budget going to writing and direction rather than "actors" would be a massive improvement for my tastes.

Listened to a podcast review on Black Widow. Seems like mediocre is the average take away from everyone on this. Feel like I'll never see this tbh, can anyone tell me if it'll have any long term ramifications on the Marvel Universe? Feel free to smash me with a spoiler.

I know Florence Pugh's character is supposed to be teased for a return, but that's all I know.

No. Even the end credit scene is unlikely to change anything in any significan't way.

anyone know what car she was driving that she had at her camper?

I enjoyed this movie. Nice sets and some funny plotlines. Plus, beautiful women taking a beating but still managing to endure and kick ass.

Paid what? It isn't like it would have done much better as theatrical only release.

Well we don't really know what it would have done although I would agree I couldn't see it be significant but I guess one question is does the money made from streaming count towards what she is supposed to get? Certainly if it doesn't its a very legit complaint and probably is regardless

They should have just thrown some extra money her way like WB did with Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman 2 going to streaming.

Disney’s response…

Update 7/29/2021 5:30 p.m. EST—In a statement provided by a Walt Disney spokesperson, Disney has responded to Johansson’s suit to say that it has “no merit whatsoever” and that its allegations are “sad and distressing in its callous disregard for the horrific and prolonged global effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“Disney has fully complied with Ms. Johansson’s contract,” the statement continues, “and furthermore, the release of Black Widow on Disney+ with Premier Access has significantly enhanced her ability to earn additional compensation on top of the $20M she has received to date.
