Bloodborne set to release on PS4 between Jan and Mar '15

That seems awfully early, they already have the Order coming out in Feb. I would think this game would be out mid year.

Maybe.

But I'd rather have the 'problem' of a bunch of good games coming out together than what we've had so far this year (to which I don't was that bad imo, but certainly could've used some more).

I don't really think this game competes at all with The Order since they are different genres completely. I think the sooner the better. From Software always has me hyped.

It just seems like clumping two big first party games so close together early in the year isn't needed. There will be a ton of big 3rd party game coming out in the late winter/early spring as well. I'd almost hold that back until closer to Halloween and then if UC4 is ready launch that in November so they have two big games going into the Holidays.

Yep, plus throw in Wicther 3 and dying light. Two games which have plenty of hype around them. Still, is nice that it is coming so soon.

I'm glad that they are going to be able to get The Order out just before The Witcher so I'll be able to play it and finish it first because once the Witcher 3 comes out I don't think I'll be playing anything else for at least a month or so. I really don't think that Bloodborne is going to make it out that early, I am looking forward to playing it though. It looks really cool and I've never played the souls games but this one looks like it's a bit more my type of game.

Good. The earlier the better. This game is the reason to own a PS4. The Order is not competition for this game.

Two single player, third person, action games aimed for the hardcore audience.

A pretty simplistic view considering one is a linear, cover based shooter, and the other is a hack/slash action RPG with an expansive world. The two are not very much alike. I suppose every game where you can see your character on screen is comparable by your reckoning.
