Blue Dragon

They did. Its been added to the backward compat.

I have to get blue dragon soon.
I meant to say LO2 but that rocks too. I finished Blue Dragon but barely. The combat and navigation was plain and boring and the characters and story were super cringe worthy and annoying.

Give me both BD2 and LO2!

If I had to choose one it'd be LO2 though.

Phil Spencer tells people what they want to hear on Twitter. I would kill for Lost Odyssey 2 but its not happening. They would need to have some interest in appealing to Japan for it to.

Oddly enough most people want BD but for the exact opposite of what you said.

It should be called something different as I don't think it was successful enough for people to remember.
I can guarantee you that most people in the western world had never heard of Final Fantasy before FF VII. Even those of us who did were still confused why it went from FF3 to 7.

Long story short, US3 was JP6 because the first 3 games didn't make it to the west. They decided to quit giving them a different number overseas at 7.

Still, a lot of the western Playstation audience had never had a Nintendo to even play the first 3 (let alone 6) games. That didn't stop the game from being a huge success.

Apples/oranges, I know. Just saying that I don't think that it matters in the western world if the previous RPG game has been played.

Yeah, like Blue Dragon : The Tale of ___.... or whatever. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

I wonder how titles like this would actually sell, now that they are on the marketplace? I noticed that they actually promoted a couple titles like RDR. I think that is a really good idea to do for a title that they want to see if there is enough interest to warrant a sequel. They surely data mine not only purchases of all backward compatible title, but each redownload.

Never did get around to playing Blue Dragon (I seem to remember a demo though?) but I would be interested in playing it at some point. Lost Odyssey is just god tier and would love a sequel.

Who wouldn't like more JRPGs on Xbox One. Blue Dragon was a good game. Just because they can't get Japanese players on board with Xbox doesn't mean the rest of us should suffer.
