Looks like a cool title. Man, a lot of games I'm seeing recently are really starting to turn me back on to Nintendo products. Really wanting a WiiU now and also a 3DS has been piquing my interest lately as well.
 
Started playing last evening,looks pretty awesome,a little learning curve at first as some things aren't really explained but pre-ordering a physical copy this weekend.

Both have great games, right now playing the new Zelda, its soo good.

When the Wii U launched I said I'd get it eventually. Then the PS4 came out and I thought it would be longer. Then Super Mario 3D World launched and I saw someone playing it at a co-workers house. Now I have a Wii U and a 3DS and haven't gamed on my PS4 since. Really thinking I should have picked up the Wii U earlier this year and held off on the PS4 instead. So many great games on both the Wii U and 3DS.


Was going to pass on this demo but if it's a different quest from the main game then might as well give it a shot.

Yeah I planned on buying the game anyway but will download since it has an exclusive quest. Thatsbpretty cool more demos should do that.
 
Am I don't something wrong or do I just suck? I ventured outside the starting city right away and died. My guys were doing like 10 damage vs 20 for the enemy. I have no magic while they can insta kill me with one of theirs.

What jobs do your characters have? That plays important part. Remember also that you can buy spells in the city.

When I stopped playing I had just picked a job for each. Don't remember exactly, but knight, mage, swordsman, ???. As for spells I didn't buy any yet as I wasn't even sure you could. I found a video on Youtube of someone playing the demo. Most I took away from it is not to buy a 400g spell that you can't use until job level 3 lol.

Lol, that was actually my first mistake. My characters have the following jobs:
Tiz- swordsman
Agnes: white Mage (support magic)
Ringabel: Valkyrie (it should stay like that)
Edea: ninja (add a dagger in the other hand, she's perfect).

Remember also that you can put other jobs' abilities as job commands. Loving how fluid this is. Definitely preordering.

Also, stay away from the temple in the south. That place is hell.

I just figured I'd wonder out and face some easy enemies to get a hang of it but when that cat looking thing hit me with magic that did 300 some damage I just said wtf.

Anywho I'll get pre-ordering the CE but wish we got the same one as Europe with the Agness figure.
 
I think they're weak to fire. I always went after them first since they always boosted the snakes. Word of advice, put the Knight job on Tiz and it'll give him a "two handed" ability so he does more damage.
 
Yea I attacked the cat thing first. I'll try it again later today now that I understand it a bit more.
 
Isn't there a multiplayer to this where players can help each other?
 
Yea I think so. Not exactly sure how it works but it has something to do with StreetPass or something. Can't imagine how often you would walk by someone that has this game as well. I surely don't just walk around with my 3DS lol.
 
Streetpass cuts this game's length by a lot. I only have one villager and it took me ten hours just to clear a boulder. It was worth it, lol. I think there can be assists in battle or something. The guy in the throne room tells you more about this but I can't ask because I'm doing his quest in the oasis. The dragon boss makes Kalameet in Dark Souls look like a puppy.
 
Just finished killing the last boss. Holy crap I hope that was the exclusive mission.
