Hi all,

We are delighted to announce that the Windows/Mac/Linux version of Broken Sword 5 - The Serpent’s Curse will be released on December 4th. As backers, you will be able to download the game on the day of release! The exact details about “how” will follow closer to release.

To top that news, the game will be released as two action-packed adventures in close succession. Thanks to your support, we have been able to be hugely ambitious – each episode is a full sized game in its own right. And because we couldn’t have done it without you, everyone from reward level $15 and up will receive both episodes!

The second episode is due for release in January 2014.

Android & iOS

The Android versions will follow soon after, but we cannot confirm a final release date yet. For those of you who asked for the iOS version instead, we haven’t found a way to distribute it yet. But don’t despair! We haven’t forgotten about it, and will do everything we can to make it possible.

Beta

From reward level $50 and up, you can have beta access to the game. We’ll have more news on that next week!

Physical Rewards

You may wonder what the two episodes mean for the boxed version of the game. We are happy to say that both episodes are included in your Special Edition Kickstarter box. However, this does mean that physical rewards will be shipped next year, once the second episode has been released.

Thanks once again for your support! You have made Broken Sword 5 – the Serpent’s Curse possible, and we can’t wait to give you the game in return.

I played the old broken sword 1 & 2. good to know the series is still going. Will certainly check it out. At the moment playing the dark eye. Cost me 7€ from steam.

When Broken Sword and Gabriel Knight came out my interest in Adventure games was waning. But I was playing a bit of ye olde Quest For Glory the other day and that brought back memories. I might check this out.

3 had too much box moving and never played 4 but looking forward to this. Would like a Windows Phone version as well but not holding out but maybe with MS new Indie tools it will happen.
