This game has completely bricked all sound coming out the Xbox. Trying to troubleshoot by turning it on and off and it’s not working.
I'm not sure it is a connection issue. To me there seems to be a sporadic hit detection issue. I've noticed that sometimes 3, 4, 5 bullets just don't register. I've had laggy games where that doesn't happen at all. I've had perfect games where it just happens a few times and then stops. I had a full game of Nuketown Dom where finished with a measly 900 points. Connection, ping were all great, but when I watched the game back it was obvious my first handful of bullets were not registering.Only thing that really frustrates me with this game especially playing Nuketown is the connection. My bad matches are always because people don’t die when I shoot them not because anything the other team is doing. Damn that s*** gets annoying. Dedicated servers my a**.

Anyone heard of any incoming patches for this game? It crashes my XSX at the exact same point in the final mission.
I am usually a blind follower of COD. This time, they can suck my taint. Fix the f***ing game. I bought it TWICE and it's broke to f*** on both consoles.Sounds like they should've released this in December or even January... Haven't seen fans be this hard on a cod game so early on before, usually it takes at least a few months and patches until people turn lol
Nope. The people complaining are next gen early adopters. Issues like this are inherant to being one.Sounds like they should've released this in December or even January... Nope, the problem is with Activision/Sony/MS, not us gamers. They don't get to have the "beta" excuse. It is their responsibility to release a game for $60, in proper working condition. It's a different story if it was released in Game Preview, or was a Beta/Alpha. They are 100% responsible for their product. If they were not ready, they should not have released it. We already know the game was rushed, as it was developed in a shorter time with some random f***ed up team.Nope. The people complaining are next gen early adopters. Game works perfectly on the platforms it was made for.
Never said it was gamers. You are an early adopter of a machine none of tge current games were made for. You have to accept that. As I said, it works great on last gen systems which it was made for. Hardly the sign of a rushed product.Nope, the problem is with Activision/Sony/MS, not us gamers. They don't get to have the "beta" excuse. It will need a client patch to fix the issues. This update was server side. The next client patch will likely be Dec 10.Says NOTHING about fixing the broken game:
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War patch means you now level up weapons faster, thankfully
Treyarch has tweaked Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War so players level up weapons faster. The developer released a patch…www.eurogamer.net
I'm closing inn on 200 games played and still going positive 90% of the time on any map that isn't nuketown.Yeah I'm sure there will be a client patch soon. The COD CW reddit is filled with people having issues. The XP fix was just a server side thing that was quick.
I'm still confused by skill based matchmaking in this game. Almost 8 hours played and my stats are still very positive. I'm back to my normal aggressive playstyle.
I keep waiting for it to throw me in some crazy high skill bracket.
Nah this game is far more enjoyable.Glad I haven't jumped in on this. Still enjoying MW hahah.
Activision need to have a CoD every year probably had this game coming in hot. Treyarch only got 2 years on this one instead of the usual 3 right?
Activision should have just stuck it out with MW for another year.
The good side of skill based matchmaking is it should put the cheaters into the highest tiers. The top tier youtubers run into them all the time, but most of us shouldn't see all that many.I'm really enjoying this multiplayer maps. I think the movement wobble and recoil are kinda overkill though. Anyway, I'm finding myself more comfortable playing with my Xbox Elite Controller even on PC. I'm kinda surprised at how okay I do (though I'm always suspicious of hackers).
I have seen a ton of great controller players beating k/m players when I watch stuff on Twitch. Some people are just gods (not me) with controllers. I think they alter tons of settings for sensitivity. I know I can change my controller setting so that my player spins around in like a millisecond, but I can't game that fast. The good side of skill based matchmaking is it should put the cheaters into the highest tiers. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of average gamers on PC now too. The top end PC players are scary, but we should never see them.
The biggest thing I run into is people using those mouse and keyboard emulators, so they get the auto aim of the controller, but the actual mouse movement.
That's the funny thing about crossplay, it only works ok because of skill based matchmaking. Otherwise controller players would be constantly getting curb stomped by mouse players.
