Whole lotta stuff leaking on the subreddit thanks to Warzone...
Releases November 13th. Multiplayer reveal September 9th. If you want it to be cross gen, you gotta pay up.

Which is a shame, because if the release was, say, October, I would have got the cross gen version, but now I might as well just wait for the Series X/S and then buy the standard edition there.

Getting less and less interested. Having to pay more for a month early current gen access?

Supposedly someone found that this game will have the exact same skill based matchmaking system as the current game, which is another turn-off. I don't hate SBMM, but they have to give people more feedback on where we are. I feel like I'm constantly up against higher skilled players every game.

Recycling the same old Warzone map if that happens isn't great either. Kind of done with that map by now.

The leveling treadmill on these games is excessive for me too. I'm still leveling up many guns and I've been playing since launch. I don't want to have to "no-life" a COD game. COD is the game you pop in and play for a bit and move on to something else.

A month? At most you're paying more for a week of early current gen access, unless you think the Series X/PS5 are launching in December. Which makes this value even worse.
Well then, I won't be buying the cross gen version if it's only that short. I think if it was at least 3 months, I would consider it. Nothing less.

All three editions include access to the beta with a pre-order and access to the Frank Woods Operator in Modern Warfare and Warzone. The Standard and Cross-Gen also include a Confrontation Weapons Pack.

The Standard Edition is the base edition available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Cross-Gen Edition includes the the base game but also the current-gen and next-gen versions of the game. This means Activision does not plan to offer free upgrades, but rather make users buy this edition to get both versions.

Includes Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War game (current-gen version and next-gen version when it launches) and Confrontation Weapons Pack. Pre-order and receive early access to the Open Beta and additional MW and WZ content.

There’s also an Ultimate Edition, which includes the cross gen bundle and bonus content for Black Ops Cold War. (via CODTracker).

Here’s what the Ultimate Edition includes:

Of course Activision is charging people extra to get it on current and next gen they are greedy bastards. Guess I have to get the cross gen version so my son can play on my One S and me on Series X.

A COD game that looks... great! First Cod in many years that's getting me excited.
Did you play Modern Warfare? It was the first COD i really enjoyed in years. This looks great too. Captured on PS5, but doesn't look much different than MW so far. Cross gen for sure. I know that the PC version of MW had some pretty subtle improvements so I won't expect much. Still, looks faboo...

No, I didn't.... it didn't grab me from what I saw... but I didn't play it, so I can't say that it's bad.
I prestiged so many times in MW1,2 and WaW but after that I just couldn't get excited anymore.
I'm sadly aware that I'll prob lose interest in this before release but right now I'm hyped.
