I’m only around lvl 30 on Battle Pass will be a good weekend to pump up those numbers.

The progress is brutal. It takes forever. I play quite a bit and can't make any progress at it.

A lot of people are saying it is just time played, so there's no reward for having a good game or playing a hectic game mode. Not sure if that's true but it seems to be.

I never had this problem in MW.

It does feel like it only goes up so much no matter what you do. MW and BO4/Blackout went faster.

Interesting, so there's no point playing modes that give me higher XP, I may as well play whatever is fun. I know guns are XP but I've got most of those up to max.

Supposedly they are doing a Nuketown + Apocalypse 24/7 playlist and I might have to jump into that. I'm not a massive Nuke fan but the new Apocalypse map is great.

I make good progress on 2xp, but once that's gone it is hard to get levels.

Supposedly we're getting a balance patch next week to nerf the LC10 and 74u SMG along with the LMGs.

I swear the biggest challenge was trying to get 10 proximity mine kills. Been working on that all weekend and finally got it. Hardest 2500 xp I ever earned.
 
They need to nerf the snipers. With how weak AR’s are in CW and now if they nerf LMG’s then you will be forced to counter snipe.

The problem is there's no flinch on snipers, so even if you shoot first, you die anyway. If someone wants to hard scope a lane with a sniper, there's not a lot you can do to counter other than not go that way. Just adding flinch would mean if we get a hit on them they'd miss their first shot.

I use the engineer perk, which gives you a wallhack to see their equipment, that way you can usually just avoid the lanes that are covered. The game definitely has a camper/hard scoping problem.

I've been lucky in this game still though, sbmm hasn't crushed me like MW did. In MW, I was up against human cyborg 180 no scopers who would just instakill me. Yet in CW I've still got a positive k/d and win/loss.

Cold blooded, smoke, sniper = dead.

Snipers having no flinch is so dumb. Nothing like watching the kill cam and seeing you hitting him with ever bullet and he just aims over to you and one taps you.

Yep, and the Tundra at least is an instant one shot kill to anywhere above the belt, even on the arms I believe. It isn't like you even need to be accurate. I suck at sniping, but every now and then I grab the Tundra on a big map and it is silly easy.

I think the aim assist is goofy for snipers too. For other guns, it feels fine, almost a little weak. Snipers though it almost aims for you. It is hard to explain, but I couldn't snipe for anything in MW, but in this game it feels almost automatic.

Also big hit boxes for snipers in CW.

I'm not sure if by "light machine gun alpha" they mean the stoner, but I hope they do.

Going to really matter what they do with recoil on the assault rifles to see if it will really change much. They can increase the damage range all they want, but if the gun kicks all over it won't matter.

Don't have time to read right now. But tuning pass on muzzle and underbarrel attachements could be the recoil being addressed.

The problem is they mention recoil/attachment changes to SMGs and ARs but nothing to LMGs other than the damage nerf to alpha which must mean the Stoner.

I wonder if they are just making ARs as accurate as the Stoner to compensate?

Their patch notes could just be wrong/incomplete as well.

That wouldn't be out of the norm. They love their stealth nerfs and incomplete/incorrect patch notes.

I didn't have a chance to use SMGs as much. They seem to have gotten the same recoil nerf. On the plus side, I think the LC10 got nerfed to where it isn't dominating. I didn't get a chance to try much. I used the 74u and it still felt good.

I'm really puzzled by this, as they seem to want everyone running around with Tac rifles and LMGs and hard scoping. I think the problem is they are trying to balance with ADS time and speed, but that doesn't really matter if someone wants to camp and hard scope. I can't use the Stoner because of how slow it is, so it forces you to sit and pre-aim. I don't understand how you add recoil to two weapon types and ignore the other two.

Can't say I noticed any difference with ARs.

It is mostly the horizontal recoil. Up close it isn't huge, but at range it is just enough to knock your aim off a little bit.

Guns like the Krig and Fara were pretty accurate, but now jump around just a touch more. It is controllable, but definitely enough to lose you gunfights against Augs and M16s.

The real problem is them not changing LMGs or Tac rifles. Had they balanced the recoil across the guns it would be fine.

I was using the XM4 and AK47.
 
So basically, they individually tuned the same attachments on each of the ARs, so it can vary gun to gun. Basically it isn't as huge a change as it feels, but you used to be able to dial out almost all the recoil but that's a little different. The Fara feels a little different. The Krig is supposed to be better, but I didn't spent a ton of time with it. At least what you see on the screen should be accurate now.

On the SMG side, supposedly the KSP is really good. The LC10 got nerfed pretty hard which is hard to argue with.

Apparently they went stealth changes all over Warzone but I rarely play that now.

 
The multiteam Hardpoint they added to Fireteam maps is fun.

Love the Miami Strike map they added. It’s 24/7 right now. Big fan.
 
That's really my biggest gripe with the game, they need to add even more 6v6 maps. Apocalypse was great, and the "new" Miami one is good. They need to keep them coming though.
 
Since this last update MW (2019) installs are glitched for me. Some are saying not installed I click on them and all it says is launch game not “install now”. All I can play is Warzone keeps saying I’m missing content for MP. I uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled everything. Now other content is glitched saying I don’t have it even though I can see it on my hard drive.

I had to recently reinstall a bunch of data packs for Warzone. I uninstalled MW at this point just to save space. I'm half tempted to remove Warzone at this point as I rarely play.
