DMZ not looking too hot. I just don't see where the longevity is for this mode. While you do "loot" in the world it seems mostly generic stuff unless you do a stronghold or buy from a buy station. It seems way too simplified....to the point that boredom will likely set in quickly.
Get decent armour. Get a couple of quality weapons. Then what?

Folk were excited at the potential, but all I'm seeing after yesterday's streams is disappointment.
The thing is, extraction shooters still have yet to really take off. Tarkov has a small following but it is still way behind battle royale modes.
When they made Warzone, BRs were already a big thing. This whole concept of this is really unproven. I honestly am not crazy about the idea of a looter COD game. Some kid is going to play all day, and when I get home from work, he'll have all the best gear and just melt me. (not sure if that's how that is going to work).

Based on the streams yesterday that won't be a thing. Only difference between a starter gun and a top tier gun are attachments. I won Solo Warzone games with a naked M4. Other than weapons it is just armour plates.
There is only basic Warzone progression. Get a decent weapon, max out armour plates, get some sort of kill streak, UAV, Mortar strike, etc.
None of us have.
Closest things to it on console are The Division's Dark Zone, Vigor, and even BF 2042's Hazard Zone.
Hopefully the 4 people who actually played 2042's Hazard Zone have won by now.

They never seem to have good sales on COD titles anymore. I always wanted to pick up Vanguard for $20 and never saw it. You might get $10 off for a black friday sale. Maybe a little more by the year end.
You would have a better chance finding the lost city of Atlantis.

I’m done playing Domination the spawns are terrible. Guess I’ll start running Hardpoint to grind guns for WZ and play some Ground War/Invasion.
No use even trying to do well in this game. Just lvl guns. The spawns, the SBMM, some of these maps work against you.
Warzone 2.0 Launch Update: Welcome to DMZ
So pretty lackluster. Nothing here puts the mode in better light. Still seemingly has no longevity. No real economy system. Lackluster "rewards" from the mode.

Their communication has been bad on this. Supposedly they found a crash bug last minute and pulled it to fix it. They specifically mentioned the mode multiple times earlier, so no idea why it is a big secret.
No idea why they didn't just admit it before launch day? I can't see people not buying the game over having to wait a couple weeks for it.
