If you play it enough and plan to play it all year then it is worth it, you earn enough cod points to get the next bP for free.
I'll have to try and get the UMP or whatever they call it this weekend. People say it isn't good, but when I run into people with it, I get wrecked.
I'm still a good 6 levels away. Not a fan of new weapons being added this way.
Bout to go all out on shotguns then. Still haven't used any and wanna start playing around with them on Shipment.
My first time trying one was on Vacant, I went 24 - 4. Maps in general aren't shotgun maps and that killed them for me.
There really is a pay to win element to it, since you can buy the early levels to get the 1st gun, and buy individual levels to get the 2nd. It wouldn't be so bad if XP was quicker.
I just don't want to play COD as a "grind" game. COD is the game I play for an hour or two away from other grindy games.
I mean you don't have to use the guns they release in the passes. TBH I generally hate trying out new guns because I'm so used to a certain style of gun that it ruins the fun sometimes.
Other than in Gunfight, I’ve yet to use a shotgun on the small maps. I need to give them a go as well.
It isn't pay to win, it is just crappy MT incentivization.
The grind is a bit silly. Surely they would more and make more with less grind.Casuals are never maxing out that BP...
Right, even last time with the holiday break I played a ton and only got up to level 80-ish and that's after buying up to 24 or whatever they offer. I play a decent amount and I would have to grind 24/7 whatever small map is going on all the time to even come close.
Its one of the reasons i wont buy it.
Apex Legends BP leveling system is so much better. It is objective based with nearly half objectives giving a +1 BP level. It would be easy for casuals to hit the 10 BP levels a week in order to hit max level.
agreed. It will be this season. No other reason to add the ‘classified’ menu on the front screen.
It looks like content creators have gone to some Activision event, If so I would assume we will see gameplay fairly soon. If starts next week then I expect Warzone on March 3rd.
I could totally see them hyping it all season and waiting for next.

It seems to only be double weapon XP this weekend. Nothing towards the battle pass

It is coming March. The mode is finished if they got content creators playing it. Waiting another 6 weeks isn't happening and makes zero sense.
Yeah I just don’t see them waiting much longer. Plus you got a new COD on the way probably in 8 months.
I fully expect the content creators to start posting videos next week. Friday or Monday March 2nd a Warzone Launch trailer. Mode launches March 3rd for MW owners. Launches F2P version March 10.
I hope they stick with this as their BR COD mode and keep building on it even after the next COD hits. The gameplay, guns, and everything in MW just feels right to transfer in a BR mode long term.
Or just keep it as a service in general. The game is really good overall, I'd like to see them go the Rainbow Six Siege route. It's got the player base for it.
If they do release one this year, hopefully it's a different time period or something so it's different enough from this one, but they still support both games.
I wish they would have waited another year to release a new game.
Last I heard this coming years game is Treyarch (Black Ops Series) I think they are taking over for another developer that was making the new COD.
If it is F2P like all the "sources" are saying then I would assume that is the plan.
Each new cod could be a big content drop for the BR. New weapons. large map shake ups or entirly new map. New attchments, perks, cosmetics.
