Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Warzone - shutting down September

Why is this game so difficult to install? Wanted to give it a shot again and get ready for Cold War. Install game off disc and it downloads more from online. Also install the 5 separate packs that show up on the dashboard. Game is done installing but can't play multiplayer because there are more packs now. Install the one that is red. Nope not enough there are like 3 other packs including Spec Ops and Campaign... why is this s*** separate if it's required to f***ing play online?! There are also two other data packs in game but I just got an error message trying to download it. Just ended up deleting the game after wasting almost 200GB of my data cap.

This game is insane with storage space. This is why people are so concerned with next gen hard drive space. A couple of games like this and you're space is done.

The season of mailing it in when it comes to post launch support. The sniper still has an option that gives it bullets with no travel time and drop. It is basically a hitscan weapon.

I'm guessing most of them are moving on to the 2021 game.

Ya, I unlocked the Lapua rounds for the new sniper. I got like 7 headshots in one go before I died.

I don't know how they did not see the issues with these guns lol. So odd.
 
A buddy and I fired up some MP the other night for the first time in awhile. Kept getting one shot by dumb s*** now I remember why I’ve stuck with Warzone for months.

The VS-Val glitch is across everything. Saw videos online of people shooting through entire buildings and killing people. It's terrible haha.

This game has been running like complete ass for a week now. So much lag.

Ya, i've been getting the bullets going through opposing players. I chalk that up to the crazy lag.
 
I wonder if it is the skill based matchmaking. MW ran great for me back in 2019. With tons of players and crossplay, there was lots of good connections to choose from.

Now with the player numbers down, the skill seems more all over the place and it is more and more laggy. If the skill based matchmaking is jumping regions to find people of close skill, that's probably causing it.
 
Game still choppy as hell, but had a killer match haha

I honestly spend more time watching people play Warzone than actually playing it. It is about the only game I do that with. Watching the top tier guys go at it is hilarious and fun. I play and I get shot before my boots even hit the ground.

I do spend a lot of time watching streamers, but I also don't watch much TV/movies so that has kind of replaced it. That said, it is mostly limited to BRs or even the new Halo. Really is something to see how good these people are. Of course maybe if I spent 7 hours a day playing it when I was in my 20s I could be decent.

Looking forward to the new map. Verdansk just got stale for me early this year. We went to just playing Rebirth Island anytime playing WZ.

i just get bored watching them.
 
See alot of talk of Warzone getting its own client/app and being untetherd from MW 2019 or any COd game. This would be good and needs to happen.

Really hoping these next gen consoles get an FOV slider too.

Gotta say, I'm kind of excited for this Caldera update. The map looks much better. Stopping power gone is great. Dead Silent and Heartbeat monitor nerfs is good. A proper Anti-Cheat. An engine update. Destruction. It all sounds good.

Hopefully Monday/Tuesday the content creators put out full gameplay vids so we can see how it plays.

Been trying to play new map all night. Only match got in it lagged booted me off Live and my internet. Lol @ 24 hour early access for Vanguard owners.

Sounds about right.

I don't have Vanguard but D-V-ANT and I had fun playing Rebirth Royal for the first time last night. Had no major issues.

Looking forward to trying the new Caldera map tonight.

Yeah it was great fun. I managed to get a 3rd place finish after you left but that was the best I did. I swapped to playing Resurgence mode after that and quite enjoyed that to. The games are a bit longer with the revive mechanic. I got a couple of Top10s in that mode.
