I was never a big baseball fan but I remember when I was young (many years ago lol) my Mom and "step dad" always watched the Dodger's when they were on tv. I always associated his voice with the smell of fresh cut grass because it seemed like whenever I'd come in from mowing the lawns during the spring/summer I'd her Vin's voice when I walked through the living room. When we'd go to Dodger games there were always a lot of people who had portable radio's with them so they could hear his commentary while watching the game in person.
