Certain Affinity is hiring ‘experienced Xbox devs’ following ‘Monster Hunter’-like exclusive reports | VGC
A job listing from developer Certain Affinity is seeking “development experience on Xbox consoles”. This comes amidst reports that the developer is working on a “Monster Hunter-like” game for Microsoft’s console.

Uncovered by Twitter user @klobrille, the listing seeks a Senior Graphics Engineer that has “shipped multiple AAA Games” and has experience using Microsoft’s platform.
A second report at the time claimed that the game has been in development since the summer of 2020 and that it’s likely to be revealed in 2023, ahead of a 2024 release.
Last year Certain Affinity announced that it had signed an agreement to lead development on an original IP, which is possibly related to the project it’s reportedly working on with Microsoft.
