So pumped to see more of this at E3. One of my most anticipated games.

Even Ron is pumped...

Wait, so they are saying the game play looks like this...

Considering me skeptical.

I would bet 100K that the actual game may not look completely identical to this trailer, but ultimately it will do more with destruction than any game before it in real time. And sadly, it will be downplayed and discounted to where Tetris does destruction better without the cloud.

If that trailer is a very good representation of visual quality and level of destruction via gameplay, then it will be one of the most impressive next-gen games. It would be extremely hard to knock it in those areas.

I expect a major downgrade from that trailer. I would love to have my expectations exceeded though.

@JCrookedSmile: Crackdown gameplay, it wasn't real they say. What the hell did they watch!?

@digitalsyrup: @Nahkapukki @JCrookedSmile was that rendered in engine? I thought it was a pre rendered trailer.

@JCrookedSmile: @digitalsyrup what u saw at build 2014 ;) Trailer is where the game is now.

Is jcrookedsmiles record of zero things right to continue? I think so.

Anywho, look forward to seeing more of this game.

I think with Crackdown's art style it's not too much to ask to get an awesome looking game. That's how I feel about Borderlands too.

The final game may look better in certain ways. I doubt it will have that level of destruction though unless its during cutscenes.

Everything else about the visuals didn't look unapproachable .

I think it's safe to assume that we'll get an update on this at E3, right? I sure would like to see what the game looks like now. Enough with CGI trailers, show us gameplay. :)

I doubt the graphics (in game) will match what we saw in the trailer (more than likely cut-scene). However, the art style of the game always seems to help with draw distances and other graphical hiccups that open world games like GTA and Saints Row had issues with. The Crackdown, IMO, always shined because of its gameplays and the graphics were a secondary thing for me...looking forward to seeing how the increased processing power will effect both gameplay and graphics. Hoping for some fun co-op multiplayer missions. Also hope we see it towards the end of 2015 rather than 2016 but I guess we'll find out at E3. Day 1 purchase for me...right now there are very few games I can say that about.

You'd think so. They've had a whole year to get it ready. Crackdown in motion on the Xbox One will be a thing of beauty. I remember what a great surprise the first game was. Most people bought it for the Halo 3 demo and it ended up being one of the best games on the 360.

The first one was great indeed. The second one....not so much. I really want to see the destruction they are going for in this game.

Yeah, Crackdown should get a significant showing at E3 but I have my doubts about it being released in 2015 considering how little we've heard or seen of it.

really looking forward to this one, loved the original crackdown but heard bad things about crackdown 2 so i never tried it.
Crackdown 2 was a lot like Crackdown 1, only with awesome new weapons, a day/night cycle that greatly affects gameplay, an overall better story, and let's not forget the completely awesome wingsuit.

There are plenty of people who passed on Crackdown 2, but I felt it was criminally overlooked for mostly petty reasons.

If this game delivers I will get an Xbox One. Love me some Crackdown.

The main reason people were pissed was because the city was the same and it felt like it was done together quickly. They should have either made a new map or expand on the original one considerably. Plus the whole zombie thing for me was tedious and the game even looked worse than the original Crackdown. MS can make up for Crackdown by delivering a game similar to the first one but larger, more vehicles, more destruction and more story.

I didn't think they were alike @ all and didn't 2 different studios do them?

They were in the same city, just some of the city was destroyed and some buildings weren't there in the second one. I am not sure but it was clear it was rushed out of the door. Crackdown is one of MS's best franchises so I hope they treat this new one with care and give them plenty of time to make it.

Crackdown 1 also sold a lot of copies because there was a Halo beta attached to it.

Yup, Crackdown 2 was a great game. People just expected more so it got overlooked. Oh well, i think Crackdown 3 will be a cornerstone exclusive for the Xbox One. It's going to be epic.

I just want 50,000 orbs to find and get a 5 point achievement for it.

I hope they continue to make changes to both the Character and vehicle appearances when you level them up. I always thought that was pretty cool. Also, more jump suit please. Hoping the city will be enormous and there will be additional vehicles you can use in the Agency's garage.

I loved flying around the city with three other peeps. Best addition to the game IMO.

Orbs make me cry. Had to give up with only 1 left.

@Dg20David: @XboxP3 any news on crackdown?

@XboxP3: @Dg20David I see this game more than most, the Xbox team sits right down the hall, I think they are tired of me grabbing the controller.

I wish they would tell you via a sensor. Maybe not the exact location, but being lead to the area would have been cool.
I would have given anything to just be given or quadrant (top-right, top-left, bottom-right, bottom-left) for my last one.
