I am bolding a couple interesting tidbits:

Today at the Microsoft E3 briefing, we revealed that CrossfireX, the first Crossfire game to come to console, will launch first on Xbox One in 2020, with unique content for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

With 650 million registered players LTD over its 10-year history, Crossfire is one of the most played PC games in the world. A free to play first-person shooter, Crossfire features two mercenary corporations – “Black List” and “Global Risk,” who battle each other in an epic global conflict. Players assume the role of either a Black List or Global Risk mercenary, joining a team that must work together to complete objective-based scenarios.

Powered by Unreal Engine 4, CrossfireX is being developed by our team at Smilegate Entertainment, based in Seoul, South Korea, and we have enlisted world class development partners including Remedy Entertainment to deliver a platform of rich experiences for Xbox players including a single player campaign, battle royale and competitive multiplayer. We have partnered with Microsoft to create an amazing Crossfire experience for Xbox fans when it ships in 2020.

We’ll have more details to share on CrossfireX later this year. In the meantime, be sure to follow the latest updates on Xbox Wire.

Made me laugh when they announced this. Spencer hyping it like it is a massive get and when he says the name everybody be like 'wtf is this, never heard of it.'

I'd be more excited if I hadn't missed the first IX.

Still not sure what this game is supposed to be. Is it a counter strike type game? COD? Rainbow 6?

I know, right.

2 events and we are no closer to knowing what this biggest game ever, with 650 million players that very few people seemed to of heard of, actual is.

Looks awesome but I hope it’s not pay to win.

"Reportedly, the game veers into pay-to-win territory as you can shell out cash for better guns, armor and various boosts that will increase your prowess in combat. Some premium items can only be purchased with real world money, and it seems if a player spends a decent amount, they'll have an advantage over friends and strangers alike. Increased power is a far more effective motivator than simple cosmetic changes, hence CrossFire's massive revenues"

I will try it but doesn’t sound promising. I wonder if the campaign is free?

Xbox would be crazy to let a pay model like that in their games, the backlash would be epic.
