I loved Rockstar Table Tennis. In fact will probably be picking it up again. Loved it graphically and IMO very underrated.

Table tennis should have been in GTA V.

Banjo nuts & bolts. Too much bitching about trying something different and not enough playing.

Puzzle Quest. #1 is simpler, easier to get into and faster to play. #2 is snazzier, but fights take too long to finish. If someone sees these on deal for 400 pts, get one of them. Getting both is overkill.

Lost Odyssey. I know it gets some love on this site, but I'd say 90% of people I talk to wouldn't even know what it is.

Tropico 4 - Addicting city/trade simulator which are hard to find on consoles.

Risen - Some really interesting detective quests and unpredictable world, i thought the sense of adventure in this was pretty good.

Metro 2033:bow: Best game ever! Kinda came out of nowhere and blew me away the first time I played it.

VanQuish- Real tight, super fun gameplay. A third person cover shooter with over the top action at a frenetic pace.

Darksiders (2) Im not really into fantasy type games but this one was a lot of fun. Never really hear anyone talking about it.

Dead Island and Deus Ex- These two are pretty well known I guess, but to me deserve a lot more play. Could play either of these games for hours on end and never get bored.

I guess I haven't really played many "obscure" type games this gen. I remember last gen there were tons of them, and more than a few I really liked.

Call of Duty World at War Single player Co Op. I doubt many people talk about this. But this was really the first time I played a game like this online playing co op with a few friends. Had a blast with it and it's a shame none of the other call of duties had a 4 player Co op.

I thought the SP in general was great in WaW. So difficult in Veteran I almost gave up countlesss times, but it was a lot of fun.

Yeah it's a call of duty not to many talk about, specially the Single player. But the Co op is the same as single player, but with up to 4 people and it's heaps of fun. And I know what you mean about the Veteran mode in this game. We had a blast getting through this game on Veteran, but it was BLOODY HARD, but also fun. Can't say that about many hard modes in games.

I fixed that for ya :p

I loved the SP in WaW, prolly my fav. COD campaign. The difficulty on Veteran was insane , mainly cause it was so freaking cheap.

Haha, very true.

I remember playing Heart Of The Reich level and I'd be behind a wall, move to the next wall and instantly 5 grenades land at my feet.

Also one of my favorite games this gen. Crazy ass characters, a good story and horribly cheesy dialogue and graphics make for a great game

Yup, that and it seemed every Gerry on the battlefield had radar eyes for you and you alone. Hey Col. Klink don't mind that Allied blasting you in the grill from two feet away, you just keep taking your super accurate hip-shots at me, while I'm a couple hundred yards away in a trench. But hey, war is hell right?

Space marine - the melee/shooting combo was satisfying, and it had one of the best horde modes I've played this generation.

I loved it, bought all the DLC, even paid for additional accounts for a while. Zipper supported it for a huge amount of time with a number of awesome patches that made huge differences to the game. We had a fairly large TXB clan who all enjoyed it too. Player counts unfortunately dropped off significantly after a number of months. Seemed like one of those games where you had to give it some time to learn all the ins and outs to enjoy it. If you didn't have the time or desire to do that, you likely never got into it.

Cool. games like that make me want to pick up a PS3, plus it can be found dirt cheap too. There still a good community for it?
