The decision to Lauch in Nov is a sales choice, not technical.

Could be but Cyberpunk would have been a run away hit released at anytime this year. Plus their last 2 big games saw released in Q2 of the year so delaying a launch to catch the next gen wave and/or holiday sales seems a little out of character for them. I honestly believe the game wasn't ready based on what they previously showed. And the fact that CD Project loves to tinker with their game damn near until it releases.

But to your point, if they don't belive that Cyberpunk is going to have the same sales legs of the Witcher 3, its best to launch in Nov during the holidays and next gen launch to get as many upfront sales as possible. It would be even better if the next gen patches were ready Day 1 as a selling point.

I think they said it's done, but are pushing it back for polish. I wouldn't be surprised if it was also so more people play it on next gen systems making it show better. I bet it runs baad on base hardware...

Asked by another investor if CDP would follow recent trends of increased next-gen game pricing, CDP’s VP of business development Michał Nowakowski said it would not.

“As I mentioned when answering the previous question, we already announced – a while ago – preorders for our game in the US going at 59.99 and we’re not planning to change that price at the last minute,” he said.

“It’s been out in the market and known to consumers for some time. In Europe, the game has been marketed by quite a few retailers for quite a while as well, so, in other words, we’re not planning to change where we are at the last minute for the consumers.”

It's technical.
Still gotta support the weak consoles and new ones are launching.
They gotta juggle those different versions.

To be fair, the game is a current gen game although it looks fantastic. The next gen consoles aren’t getting a next gen patch until Earl 2021 although they will play a nicer looking version on launch. I’m assuming they won’t support RT until the patch though.

Just question? Can we play cyberpunk on next gen consoles when release or we have to wait for the next gen version patch.

Will be PC version come stock with Ray tracing or do we have to wait for a few months for RT patch.

Anyone?

Yes you can play on next generation consoles on release and they will be a better version than current gen but the next gen patch not coming until early 2021. It’s in the tweet I posted a few posts up.

PC version will have ray tracing on day one along with DLSS.

I'm WELL above the recommended specs. Since I couldn't snag a rtx 3080, I think I might upgrade my SSD from a Sata 3 to a NVME.

The only thing I wonder about are what settings and resolution are the recommended spec for.

Well CD Project has answered the spec questions.

Please note that the game is both graphics- and processor-intensive, so make sure these components meet or exceed the minimum requirements. Also note that the minimum is created with Low settings and 1080p gaming in mind and Recommended with High and 1080p.

So basically:
Min = 1080p Low
Recommended = 1080p High
