Updated PC system requirements. I exceed everything for RT Ultra at 4K except for having a RTX 3080. My 2080ti is going to have to suffice until I can find one.

You'll be fine. You'll be playing at better than console settings since:

a: They won't launch with RT support in this game.

b: Your GPU handles RT better than either PS5 or XSX and has better performance in general. DLSS 2.0 will help with this.

We will see. I expect to get decent framerates I might dial back the RT to somewhere between min and high. RT shadows don't mean much to me but RT reflections do.

This is one of those games where people are putting the hype on a 1-10 scale at around 3 trillion and are going to be let down. Don't hype yourself to infinity and have unrealistic expectations.

I watched the IGN video of the guy who played it for two days and it looks like a really good RPG. Seems like you can play the way you want (more action, more stealth, etc) which is really nice.

I read that the PS4/pro copies are out there in some places and leaked gameplay footage is getting shut down quickly. At least we know the game isn't going to be delayed again.

Watched an IGN video where one of the writers played for 16 hours and he said it’s a slow burn. It takes like 4-6 hours just to get to combat and to get that opening screen that says Cyberpunk 2077. I imagine it picks up but it’s going to be time sink for sure.

I hope the Game doesn‘t turned into an interactive movie With occasional gameplay.
having said that I only now notice the amount of non combat vs combat( or lack of it) being shown so far.

That worried me a little as well. I get that this is a slower paced RPG game and not going to be COD type action all the time, but 4-6 hours without killing anything?

This seems to be the new trend in gaming, instead of tutorials, there's basically a slow build that is basically a long tutorial. Red Dead 2 was the same way. I was bored silly in that game until after the first few hours when the "training wheels" come off.

So, PS5 and XSX will only be display the compatible versions of PS4/XBO until the upgrade next year. Does this stop anyone from playing it in a few weeks?

I might wait to be honest. I'm waiting to see how launch is and I've got so much to play right now.

I keep bouncing back and forth with getting this on PC or console. I was leaning PC, but now might be going back to console.

By early next year I will have more time to put into it. This isn't meant to be negative, more that this game is going to need a ton of my time and I don't know if I can properly do that right now.

I'm on the fence. I might wait. I have plenty I can play ahead of this. Graphics/looks isn't everything for me, but if I have other things I can play....why not?

We'll see. I think over time, CDPR, tends to really patch and upgrade numerous times and it just might be an better experience in the long term.

Assuming I don't upgrade to an rt capable card, I'll probably wait. Then again, if the reviews say it holds up well on XSX I may get it and play through it before the upgrade since I have yet to find a game where a graphical upgrade is the difference between whether I enjoyed it or not.

Game looks great already imo, definitely day one.
Finished Witcher 3 on vanilla xbox one, then played about half again with the one X patch, then finished it all over again on switch.... When it comes to this developer I'm certain I'll be wowed regardless of graphics.

I agree, The Witcher 3 was a generation defining game for me. We had some great games over the last generation but nothing came close to the storytelling in TW3 and I still haven't played a game in the same space with better RPG skills for combat and deep systems for character build diversity. You really had to think and make hard choices in deciding what skills to invest in and I expect the same or greater level of depth in Cyberpunk 2077.
