I'm not sure about this game... Yet.
It just doesn't click like other greats. RDR2, Witcher 3, even Fallout 4 could keep me playing into early morning if I wasn't careful.... This just feels... Like a chore? I think giantbombcast hit the nail on the head when they said that the world is so full of visual impressions (neon lights, cars, people, structures etc) that my mind just blocks it out or something. Doesn't help that the NPCs feel lifeless (the random ones) and it's happening way to often that I walk past a guy just to see his identical twin 5 seconds later.
The side missions aren't up to witcher 3 class (although that might change idk), the depressed cop was great though.

Idk, the bugs doesn't bother me and graphically it looks awesome and plays fine on XSX, I don't think it would've made any difference if they had a year more dev time either tbh.

Maybe it'll grow on me, I'm about 15h in atm.
Of that I agree. I don't feel like any of the side missions stack up to the side missions of The Witcher 3 but I'd say that they're still better than alot of the missions in games of the same genre.

Y'all stop posting so much, I'm not getting this until the next gen upgrades are ready and having to make this read all the time is a lot of work and I don't have mediocre enough dick to not complain.

Which leg mod do you guys prefer? I bought the charge jump one, as I read it lets you jump higher. Now I'm reading a lot of people say they prefer the double jump mod for control. Which do you guys prefer?

Side note, I wish I would have made the leg mods be my first cyberware purchase. The verticality of the game word completely opened up to me once I was able to jump higher. Having a blast using this mod, finding hidden secrets on roofs, figuring out crazy ways to get to locations faster, etc. Now I just need to get the perk that lowers fall damage so I can easily jump down from all the high up places I get myself in.

I went with double jump. Helped me get places I shouldn't have been.

The double jump also helps with fall damage as you just push jump before you land to the ground, haven't tried the other one yet but will get it soon since credits are so easy to come by.

What do you find the easiest way to get credits? I'm finally going to be able to play again tonight and credits were a bit tough to come by for me.

Just doing heaps of side jobs/gigs, plenty of money lying around on missions and stocking heaps of stuff and selling it, then when I'm at a vendor I'll craft a crap ton of guns and sell them too, keeping an eye on how many components I need for iconic upgrades, I got the skill that dismantles all the junk I get which is handy.

I just always seem to have a lot of credits, I don't buy any of the cars or anything so I mainly just spend money on cyberware.

I'm not sure how you guys have wrapped up most side quests, I mean how do ya know? I'm 60 hours in and they are still coming left and right. I've done nothing but side stuff for a week and I now have 4 new side quests to do along with like 15 gigs. I haven't even done any Judy quests yet.

Me thinks you missed out on a bunch.
Yeah, I'm at 54 hrs and that's mostly side missions. I still have a ton of them on my map. I do like to do every criminal encounter I can get my hands on though.

There is a sweet super car I found just on the edge of the badlands and the city. There is an underground tunnel you can drive through and if you find it its added to your garage. Its inside of a connex right along the underground road. Cant remember what it's called. Calburn or something.

The side missions with the NFC’s are the better ones. The ones that drop randomly on maps or from fixer or regina or any caller usual boring.

a lot a clear build you want to make can carry the gameplay as you want to keep leveling up to enchance the build you are making.

The main missions are also Nice. They are no way near Witcher though. There is no Yennifer Level NPCs.

I'm enjoying the fixer stuff. I like taking control of cameras and testing different cyberware on enemies. One area there were 5 people congregating around a victim and I tried that contagion cyberware. Took them all our with one move. Put a smile on my face.

Well the witcher 3 wss special in that regard. Some of their side quests are far better than alot of games main campaign this gen.

Maxing out the Advance Datamine perk in the breech protocol tree and hacking every terminal you find gets you a minimum of around 750 credits each time, plus rare hacking materials. If you go for the most difficult datamine, you get the more credits. I can regularly get 1200-2000 credits on one terminal. I like it for making money so much I also threw a perk into Extend Network Interface which highlights nearby terminals for you so you don't miss them. Most every combat area has at least one of these terminals in a sneaky place, some have several (like 5 or 6). I feel like I'm making money pretty fast doing the relatively quick and easy minigame.

The game maybe buggy and unfinished but boy does it have its hooks in me. To me a mark of a good game is one that has you thinking about it after you've finished it. Cyberpunk does that. I'm already contemplating a second play-through( after patches and when I knock out some of this backlog) with a different background, different class and making different choices. With my first V, I went back and got the other 2 endings. Not a fan of them as the first ending felt more cannon to me than the other 2. I'm locked out of the secret ending due to things I said and did with Johnny. So second character is a go eventually.

I am looking forward to the remastered version with ray tracing. That'll be my 3rd playthrough.
