Now I'm unlocking side missions that are "low" danger. What? I swear these don't end. I've had 8 more show up and still haven't met with Takemura. It's been over a week lol

Anyone that has finished main story can you confirm if you can continue to play after please? To still be able to complete side missions and explore etc as looked on the net but conflicting reports.
some say you have to save at a certain point etc, others say no need so don’t know who to believe lol

i want to finish main storyline first then clean up side jobs etc after and just explore the world at my leisure.

30+ hours and just got to the outskirts of the city, this game is HUGE! The world is so impressive.

because I use software like blender and UE4, I build environments myself, some I make completely from scratch and others kitbash etc but I know how difficult it is and can appreciate the hard work that goes into it.

After you finish the main story, it returns you to your last save before the final mission. All side jobs and gigs that you didn't finish before the final mission will be there for you to finish. The game clearly tells you, you are at the end and to save. The game will return you to that save after you finish the story.

Ahh ok thank you. But what if you level up or get some cool items during that final mission?

You are supposed to be able to keep items and experience from the final mission....... However as with all things in this game, experience and items from the final mission do not carry over due to a bug/glitch.

thanks so much for replying. Weird though it should just let you do the main mission then carry on but I am guessing it’s a major story point so they can’t.

Yeah the way the story ends, with any of the endings, you're not continuing in Night City after the final mission. And I'm hesitant to say if CDPR is going to even do a new game+ with this game as so much gear/loot and quests are tied to street cred, there would have to be a total rework of the system.

On further review, You can keep the items you find/rewarded with from the last mission. If it's not in your inventory check your Apartment Stash. If its not there then go to a ripperdoc or do a side mission then check your stash, that's what made my items appear. Street Cred and experience still didn't carry over.

The reset to the level/street creed after finishing the game to the point of no return is a turn-off. My Revolver turned from 700+ dps down to 400+....

I think the story is not particularly well written & limit expansion. Why would they do that? It wasn't even dramatic or emotional for me, which I presume what CD Projekt wants us to feel.

Think for a moment, what did you achieve in the end (story)? Literally nothing.

Anyway, UI checked on stream & I was clocked at 78hours of playtime. 75hours if you include AFK time.

Also, that this game is made by the same devs as Witcher 3 is mind boggling... Going from one of the best (if not THE best) written quests and characters in games ever to these boring ones is strange af.

Setting has a lot to do with it. Personally, I am always more drawn in by fantasy over si-fi

I Love both fantasy and sci-if. One issue I have with cyberpunk is the city doesn’t look really futuristic. Most cars being Gas burner in 2077, barely any robots, automation. The city could look like many modern cities in 10 years.
the City is amazing on its own, it just doesn’t look 2077.

It doesn't feel Cyberpunk, or at least not bladerunnery like I prefer ... I'm not well versed in the original version of this?

If I have a Xbox one x, how is the game with updates? I know the base ps4/xbox, is bad, is it worth playing or should I wait?

Depends how bad you want to play it, it runs alright but can be choppy in crowded areas and while driving, graphics are good there's not really any pop in. I'd wait for next gen upgrades but is still totally playable and enjoyable.

Coming up on the end now, it really creeps up on you, I reckon they could've easily done with at least another 5 hours or so, just cleaning up all the side missions now hopefully get to level 50, I doubt it.
