It's depressing after watching the first 48 min gameplay trailor of the game, only to see that a lot of cool stuff presented there was cut out.
For sure. But it's even worse than at first glance. Like when you go with Jackie to rescue that chick in the ice bath. In that trailer the wall inside the building slowly gets shot apart over the course of the gun fight. Well it still can in the actual game, but it's literally the only wall in the game that can. The maelstrom mission where thay made a huge deal about all the different ways you can compete it? Well the panel they showed you hacking doesn't do anything. The door they said you can rip open with gorilla arms is is basically locked because you have to be level 20 to open it, and when I looked up if there is a way to open it I discovered that there's just an empty glitched out room on the other side that you can't get out of. I haven't seen such deceptive marketing and practices since that time Purdue Pharma marketed Oxycontin as a "non addictive alternative" to other painkillers.

Level 42 at 71 hours
I'm similar level and playtime (though I maxed my street Cred a while ago). I just did the mission with hacking the floats. I also just did the Chapel mission, lol. I just like doing all the side stuff so much.

I wish they had more sprawling multiple path level designs.

It feels like there are a lot of multi-path missions in the game to me. Not all of course, but even there there seem to be options.

83 hours in. Working on side quests and gigs during Act 3. Still haven't fast traveled. Love, love, love this game.
Well then you're gonna REALLY love it in a year when they finally finish development on the game. It's a fun game, but I can't in good conscience let them keep my $250 after aggressively lying to my face all the way up to release. I'll pick it up after Thanksgiving for $15 or $20 and get the full game with DLC (aka the rest of the game) and have a grand old time.

I'm gonna do the first playthrough on this version, then wait for a second when the upgrade drops. Game is beautiful on XSX quality mode already.

Powered by my 3090 and 10900K. Absolutely maxed out settings with Ray Tracing etc with DLSS on and over 90fps.

There are multi path missions but the only ones that stood out to me were the industrial park and the pacifica mall one. Even then they are pretty linear. I guess I was wrongly expecting some big sprawling missions in the vein of the deus ex games, cyberpunk does it's own thing pretty well.

I never went far with Panan as the game bugged (not fixed) at Queen of the highway & cannot continue. Thankfully it's not a main quest so I can at least finish the game.

Beat it last night, about 65 hours total doing most of the side quests. Game felt way too easy and made the perk system almost meaningless on default difficulty. I'm going to wait until DLC and a bunch of fixes are in before I replay it. Gonna go female V next time and increase difficulty. Enjoyed the game a lot but know I can get a lot more out of it. Gonna play me some Valhalla for a while now.

So... Played some more of the main story... It gets better story telling wise, it's actually pretty great now imo.
I'm giving this a higher grade, it's better than I initially thought.

Yea I increased to very hard about 3 quarters of the way through the main story, it was fun just blasting through everyone but it was like I could just stand there and take hardly any damage, now I am just mopping up the last couple quests and all the crime activities and each battle is intense.

Are you all on PC? These shots are incredible.

65 hours? I'm at 100 hrs. Did reach the point of no return on the main story and am at 90 percent for the sidequest/gigs, though I'm only like 30% on the Jonny missions.

I have to finish this crack, its eating up all my free time!

I'm about 15hrs in and completed Act 1 which felt short to me. But I noticed a lot of mission icons on the map. But I'm not sure what I'm doing to provoke law enforcement but they spawn right behind me and I have no chance against them. I assume this is a bug and its annoying as hell. Maybe I should just wait for more patches and fixes because there's a great game here. The game world needs special mention because its designed really well.
