Adam Badowski is full of s***. There are youtube videos about this guy. Apparently, he's an a****** to work with, isn't open to innovative ideas from CDPR developers and only cares about what he thinks should or shouldn't be in a game. An egocentric narcissist in a nutshell.

"If you look at that demo now, it's different yes, but that's what the 'work in progress' watermark is for. Our final game looks and plays way better than what that demo ever was."

Thing is though that they make great games.

I am sure this Adam guy used to be nice, like Mark Zuckerberg. But power corrupts. From a leaked document, which CDProject claimed to be fake, The boss of CD projects is using CD Projekt increased popularity & fame to influence politics. CD Projekts supposed got funding from the Government that supposes to be used to advance science & research. I guess Poland politicians are as corrupted as the politicians in the rest of Europe, & America. Not shocking though.

To be fair, many, if not most demos are fake. Anthem one was fake as well, & remember the famous Killzone one. Also Uncharted 4, but they got away with creative wordsmith & naughty dogs white knights shielding.

Now the rust has settled.
Its been 2 weeks since I last touch Cyberpunk, & I do not missed or have very fond memory of the game. I still have fond memory of Witcher 3, as well as Deus Ex games while in my opinion still the best distopia cyberpunk game.
Even without the bugs, in the end cyberpunk is just an above average open world shooter. The best NPC, they killed off early in the game. The rest of the NPCs are generic, one dimension that fit very clear sterotype. except maybe Johhny which as sort of chracter arc. Combat is decent but nothing groundbreaking.

Story is not particularly deep or interesting. Lots of miss opportunites to tackle mass survallence, corporations power grip, corp control media indocrinaton. (Maybe too close to iRL)
Night city is a Cesspool crime ridden city, but why & the attitute towards the state & how so was never addressed. well The Corporation suppose to be Evil, but they barely shows how. Like if they shown people lives destory, family members disapppeared after speaking out against the corp.

Also there is a huge Parlor potientila that was never really used. Reaching hard to reach places via parlor to get to some point of interest is more fun then another generic crime scence or taking picture of a wall (Gitiffi mission)

There are a lot of videos showcasing the games shortcomings, but this one takes the cake! So well done. So hilarious. It's worth a watch even if you only stick around for the first 5 minutes of the video.

Yeah, game isn't finished in regards to what they set to accomplish, they prob needed a year more or a quick end to the pandemic.

Still, just as Arnolds 1980 mr olympia comeback, even at 60-80% of full potential, it still beats (or equals) everything else released last year (not counting the gimped vanilla consoles).

I saw this to its entirety the other day.

Here's another good video. It's from late 2017, but it's aged well and talks about The Witcher series and CP2077's development issues.

The funny thing is that they could have done what Larian Studios did with Balder's Gate 3. Make it early access, with the disclaimer of work in progress and release it at full price. No one would have complained and they would have covered themselves.

I've had a few times where the game freezes up and I'm booted to the dashboard. But last night for the first time after the game froze my XSX shutdown. It started right back up and all appears well but its a little concerning.

There seems to be a little too much RNG in the loot for this game. It almost feels like a loot-shooter at times. I'm still having a lot of fun, but gamers were right about hacking making things a bit too easy. Also, the sleepy-tranq mod for the missile arm is OP and I love how I can cheese higher level content with it, haha.

Game feels much smoother on the series x then the X1X. Looks about the same just runs a lot smoother.

Finished the game last night, was all a little meh up until the final couple end scenes which were really nice and made me glad I chose who I did. Will replay once the next gen versions come out, was going to try clean up all the gigs but don't think I can be bothered and I'll move onto other games.

Patch 1.1 is out. 5.4gb download.
Patch 1.1 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, consoles and Stadia!

In this update we focused on various stability improvements, which you can find outlined in the patch notes below. We will continue this work in patch 1.2 and other upcoming updates. At the same time we will keep fixing the bugs you encounter and listening to your feedback on how to improve the overall game experience.

Stability

Various stability improvements including:
  • Memory usage improvements in various systems within the game: characters, interactions, navigation, in-game videos (news, tv, etc.), foliage, laser effects, minimap, devices, AI, street traffic, environmental damage system, GPU-related, and more.
  • Various crash fixes (related to, among others, loading saves, game opening/closing and Point of No Return).
Quests/Open World
  • Fixed an issue where calls from Delamain would end immediately and seem like they cannot be picked up in Epistrophy.
  • Fixed an issue where players would not receive calls from Delamain when approaching relevant vehicles in Epistrophy.
  • Fixed an issue where the objective could get stuck on "Answer the call from Mr. Hands" in M'ap Tann Pèlen.
  • Fixed an issue where Judy could teleport underground in Pyramid Song.
  • Fixed an issue where it would be impossible to talk to Zen Master in Poem of The Atoms.
  • Fixed an issue where Takemura wouldn't call in Down on the Street.
  • Fixed an issue where Jackie could disappear in The Pickup.
  • Fixed an issue where it could be impossible to get out of the car in The Beast in Me: The Big Race.
  • Fixed an issue where players could stop receiving calls and messages after moving too far away from A Day In The Life area.
  • Fixed an issue where opening the package wouldn't update Space Oddity.
  • Retro-fixed the saves affected by a rare issue where speaking to Judy in Automatic Love would be impossible due to an invisible wall. The underlying issue is under investigation.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from collecting the reward in Gig: Freedom of the Press. The quest will auto-complete for those who could not collect the reward previously, and the reward will be provided automatically.
  • Fixed an issue where Delamain would remain silent throughout Epistrophy if the player initially refused to help him.
UI
  • Fixed an issue where prompt for exiting braindance could be missing.
  • Removed an invalid item from loot.
Visual
  • Fixed an issue where a grenade's trajectory could be displayed in photo mode.
  • Fixed particles' hue appearing pink when viewed close up.
  • Fixed cars spawning incorrectly in Reported Crime: Welcome to Night City.
Achievements
  • Fixed an issue where completing one of the assaults in progress in Santo Domingo would sometimes not contribute towards progression for The Jungle achievement, preventing its completion.
Miscellaneous
  • Addressed the issue responsible for saves getting oversized (related to the modifier indicating if the item is crafted), and trimmed the excess size from already existing saves (note: this won’t fix PC save files corrupted before 1.06 update).
  • Fixed an issue where input could stop registering upon opening the weapon wheel and performing an action.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Continue" button in the Main Menu could load an end game save.
PlayStation-specific
  • Performance optimization of crowds on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.
  • Various crash fixes on PlayStation 4.
Xbox-specific
  • Improved memory usage for character creation, mirrors, scanning, camera remote control, menus (inventory, map) on Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox One S.
PC-specific
  • It will now be possible to obtain achievements while in Steam offline mode. Note: Offline mode needs to be enabled before starting the game. This change does not work retroactively.
  • Addressed the game startup crashes related to loading cache on NVIDIA graphics cards.
Stadia-specific
  • Concert audio should no longer be inaudible in Never Fade Away.
  • Fixed corrupted textures on several melee weapons.
  • Tweaked default deadzone settings to be more responsive. Note: the change will not affect settings unless they’re set to default.

Blade Runner 2049 reshade:

Modders are fixing the game and making it their own. PC Master Race flexing. Love it!

Thank God for the modding community. The walking mod, ai behavior mod and the better mini map is a nice improvement over the vanilla game.

The AI disappearing issue is gone. The AI also doesn't walk through you anymore and actually walks around you. Performance seems to have improved as well. Overall, the much needed update is good. I have no complaints thus far. I am glad CDPR is doing what they do best as far as patching their games and delivering good results.

I am also reading that the console versions are performing better as well and graphics look a little sharper.

People are still complaining about the police AI, I can't blame them, but CDPR have bigger fish to fry at the moment.

I don't even care about the police ai I hardly ever see them anyway, wish they'd fix the traffic though.

I figured out awhile ago that I was drawing the attention of the Police because I'd (by mistake) kill the civilian at the Assault in Progress open world side activity. Now I just use a quick hack to kill any enemies close to the civilian and I haven't had any issues with Police AI since. You can use the stupid Police AI to your advantage. There was a piece of legendary loot locked behind a locked door in the open world, it required a high level of the technical ability. Since the Police AI is so stupidly predictable I was able to get them to spawn right in the locked area and when they pursued me they unlocked the door. I was able to quickly swoop in to collect the loot and run away like a thief in the night.

I mean it seems like my performance *on PC* has increased. Not saying that it was terrible before, but maxed out I'm getting 3~4 more frames it seems.
