My benchmark of sorts with various settings. Playing with an Xbox controller for the first time in this game:
system:
i9-10900K @ 5.2ghz
GPU: EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 @ 2.0ghz
1440p 165hz Monitor ASUS ROG
Installed on a 1tb Samsung 980 Pro PCIE Gen 4 NVME SSD.
No RT? I see a ton of screen space reflections. Otherwise looks great!
Ah, I didn't watch the whole thing. I was like, RT is what puts that over the top, imo.RT is there. I turn on completely maxed out settings less than halfway through the video.
They need a whole new npc system and A LOT of new voice acting sessions for them.Just booted up the game after not playing it since Dec 30th. Seems the same on PS5 after the 1.11 update. I think they should have worked with consulrants from Rockstar or somewhere, about making the world feel alive.

I never bought the game to begin with because I've been waiting for that next gen patch. Hell maybe it'll be on GamePass by the time it releases.Yes, I'm uninstalling this on my XSX until next gen patch hits, can't see myself playing anymore until then and gods know I need the space.
Yeah, don't get me wrong, I had fun with it a few dozen hours, but the urge to play it disappeared a bit, so I'll hold off.I never bought the game to begin with because I've been waiting for that next gen patch. Hell maybe it'll be on GamePass by the time it releases.
The game, story wise, is a far cry from Witcher 3.Yeah, don't get me wrong, I had fun with it a few dozen hours, but the urge to play it disappeared a bit, so I'll hold off.
Just not worth it to me, that's a 1800 dollar GPU and when you enable RT it literally tanked your frame rate by 50%ish AND you already had DLSS on. The frame rate trade off vs what you gain visually just ain't worth it to me.

Even with basically the most top end retail PC you can get, it's barely holding 1440p/60+fps consistently with RT and DLSS on with drops to the 50's (it is 1440p res, yeah?). Night time it seems to be better.
1440p/30 with RT on and 1440p/60fps with RT off for next-gen consoles most likely when CDPR decides to release it.
The consoles are going to be doing quite worse....the top of the line AMD architecture they are based on goes to single digits with ANY RT on in Cyberpunk...https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-ray-tracing-amd-graphics-card-rdna-2/
I wouldn't even expect a solid 30fps at 1440p with RT on next gen consoles at this point.
FixedIt'll be pretty bad if they release the RT version at 1080p or so. Maybe it'll be dynamic 1440p with RT on at 20fps on PS5 in photo mode (and 30-40fps on XSX).
