Dark Souls II - releasedate announced

Would have liked to see it released Nov 2013. March 2014 is a bit late, however, it will not stop me from a) getting it day one and b) enjoying the sh!t out of it.

From Soft is one of my top 3 favorite devs. I won't have a next-gen console right away anyways. I'm waiting 6 months post-release to see how the systems fair.

As much as I loved the first one I really don't see myself getting this on the 360. Titanfall will be out around then as well.

As a man who really isn't excited for the next generation of consoles, and who barely plays his Xbox 360 or PC games as it is, I'm okay with this. My backlog is absolutely staggering and there are many games from 2012 and 2013 that I still need to purchase and play.

My heart goes out to the die-hards who are eagerly awaiting this with their every breath. Back when I was waiting for Fable and Halo 2, my mind had room for little else.

The release date of this game and what consoles it's coming to is going to kill it.

I still don't know which version I want. If the pc version still uses GFWL, then it'll probably be an awful online experience. The pc version of Dark Souls had terrible online with very few people online and frequent disconnects. I may stick with the ps3 version if I have to go through that again even if it means worse visuals.

Dark Souls is my GOTY this year even though it was a 2012 game for the PC. Nothing will top it this year. However, I am not so eager to pour over 100+hrs into an RPG again. I'll probably be ready by March 2014.

Ever since I got the game Xmas 2011 I'm still stuck on the gargoyles...but I still love the game even if I'm nowhere near the middle of the game.
Hopefully I can beat it before Dark Souls 2 comes out because I'm definitely interested.

You can summon NPC help or real people help if you go into human form (the number in the left hand corner is white when in human form) and that should get you thru the gargoyles. You need to use humanity to reverse hollow at a bonfire. If your post what level you're on and what system, i am sure one of us could be summoned to help you.

Day one. Dark Souls is still one of the most challenging, rewarding games I've played. Despite being unfairly difficult, the feeling of accomplishment you get from actually completing it... It's very rare in gaming.
