Pretty sure if I un-boxed that in the park, I'm getting shot.

This should come with both Darksiders games including the soundtracks. Imo :)

Excellent. I was hoping this game wouldn't disappear after the publisher vanished.

Darksiders 3 Announced – IGN First

THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have announced that Darksiders 3 is currently in development and is scheduled to release sometime in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game is set to be an open-world action-adventure that includes a focus on exploration and environmental puzzles, and will continue the series’ staple hack and slash combat with new protagonist, Fury.

It’s set around the same time as the events of Darksiders 2, which was released almost five years ago, and will follow Fury’s quest to destroy unique physical versions of of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Gunfire Games’ development team includes multiple ex-Vigil Games employees who worked on Darksiders and Darksiders 2, including the Game Director, Executive Producer, Technical Director, Lead Environment Artist, and more.

Since the studio’s formation in 2014, they’ve worked on titles including Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and Chronos, which was one of IGN’s nominees for the best VR game of 2016.

Lars Wingefors, Co-Founder and Group CEO at THQ Nordic AB said, “After countless rumors, a major catalogue acquisition, and even a corporate re-brand, the team at THQ Nordic is thrilled to finally confirm plans for Darksiders III.”

I played maybe 3/4 of the first game but just got burnt out. Maybe some day I'll feel like going back.

I see they have the pack on sale (literally at the bottom of this thread lol) so might just grab it. Not sure what Warmastered does over the original but at the price I don't mind getting it again.

Loved the first one but kind of burnt myself out on it. Had some pretty challenging puzzles and some great scenery but felt like too much travelling around. I'll be there for this one though.

Not digging the main character look at all, something about the eyes and face look a bit too cartoony? Idk what it is.

Never played the franchise. Reading into it, sounds good on paper. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the main character art style.

Sounds like the type of game that could benefit from stealing from Zelda: BOTW game design.

Darksiders has already taken a lot from the Zelda franchise, probably more then any other game so won't be surprised to see some elements from BOTW creep into this one.

If they could make Darksiders: BOTW edition, I'd be just fine with that.

Sounds good to me. Seems like a no-brainer that there would be a Zelda genre.

PSN has a combo pack with the first two games on sale for $20. I'm thinking about getting it since I've always wanted to play these games. I love me some Metroidvania style of play.
