Wait! Its a common practice for the package to be left at the door, when there is no one to collect where you live?
Where I live, either they will make a call to you, pass to your neighbour(but normally if you indicated this in the delivery service), or the likely case of leaving the package at a nearby pick up shop, like a petrol station, & drop the collection receipt in your mailbox.

When I buy from Amazon, I normally just indicate that they send my package to a pick up shop near my place. I will recieve either a mail, or message when the package have arrived & I can pick it up. As long as I collect within 2 weeks or so, its ok. I just need to show my ID on collection.

It depends, but whenever I buy from Amazon they will always just leave it at the door.

Might be the last time I ever set foot in a physical game store. Midnight launch at EB then off for a week. I think MS is making a mistake not releasing before PS4. Word of mouth of how cool all the features are and people being able to try their friend's Xbox One +games would really make a lot of people switch their preorders I bet.

An hour long vid showing all this before launch would suffice though. Come on.
