Can't wait to play this on the PS5!
I had a lot of fun with Days Gone. It felt like the game flew under the radar of many gamers and yet I read that it sold really well. I hope there's a sequel. But be warned its a grim-dark story comparable to something like The Walking Dead where humans are the real threat.

I am about half way through, and I am so bored, I can't bring myself to finish it :(

Hmmmm, if it hasn't clicked with you by the mid-point then I guess it might not be for you. Although there have been games I've put down and went back to later that I got into. The Witcher 3 was one of those games where I initially thought it was boring and put it down for months. Then I tried it again and it sucked me in like almost no other game has. For the record, I believe TW3 is an incredibly slow game but once its picks up it doesn't let up until the credits roll.

I was happy to hear it's included in the PS5 PS+ collection (whatever it's called). I'll definitely play it once I get a PS5.

Its awesome all these games are getting upgrades. I envy you for being able to experience it for the first time with all the new enhancements.

How's the quality of this? I just took it and uploaded via social media. Anyone who's played the PS4/Pro version can comment on any changes you can see?

Game looked amazing last gen, if 60fps and dynamic 4k are added it would look even better.
One of the most underappreciated ps4 games imo

It definitely looks clean on the PS5 and I'm not sure if they upgraded the textures and lighting but they look really good too.

Played a little bit. I normally don't replay open world games but having played this on a regular PS4, it looks and feels phenomenal on a PS5.

Sony's latest first-party game to make its way to PC, Days Gone, is facing flak for its data collection policies. Caught by Steam user Higgsterman (via IGN reader Aworas), Days Gone reportedly tracks every keystroke a player might make on their computer while the game is running.

Other data collected by Days Gone while it is running includes details on folders and all of their contents regardless of file type. According to users on Reddit, there is no way to properly opt out of any sort of data collection.

This game is so good. I'm playing it right now on my PS5 and I can't believe some of the reviews it got. The Gamespot one is criminal.

I never finished it. Just got bored I think. Might give it another shot on PS5 as I think it plays better at least.

It started off good. But then it kind of got repetitive. I did finish the game though taking breaks in between.

This is a game I really enjoyed. I can see its flaws and know that when most gamers say the game got "repetitive" that's pretty much shorthand for.......I got bored of what I was doing in-game. I mean, lets face it all games are repetitive by nature. I don't mean to seem like I'm discounting your opinion but instead trying to highlight that I seem to like some games that don't get mainstream appeal. I guess I'm getting old or have weird tastes.

I liked clearing out nests and dealing with the hordes. And I really got into the story, it felt like a good Walking Dead saga. I also got attached to the Bike, in most open world games vehicles are disposable but in Days Gone you only get one Bike so I made sure to take care of my precious. This game might have taken itself a little too serious though because the story was filled with dark themes of loss and betrayal.
