They own the IP, as trademarked by the latest director's cut trailer (fine print). Unless something changed but I haven't read anything else.

I think they just had rights to their first project, but I’m pretty sure Kojima owns the IP…I could be wrong though

And there may have been some stipulation of where they could use the decima engine.

Yo, my prediction, Kojima switches to UE5 and makes halo mp dlc ;) mostly the switch to ue though 😎

Sony didn't publish the PC version

Sony had “no involvement” with Death Stranding’s release on PC Game Pass, despite the platform holder owning the intellectual property and funding the development of the title. “Matters relating to the PC release of Death Stranding are managed by Kojima Productions and 505 Games,” a spokesperson told us. “SIE has no involvement in this promotion.”

I am confused. What does that have to do with a Sony owned IP on Game Pass? Not to mention, if Game Pass didn't exist prior to the contract, allowing it on Game Pass is even more confusing if it wasn't in the contract.

Well you can't put anything in there to stop it from happening if it didn't exist

I am not even sure what the confusion is. They own the game but have nothing to do with the publishing and therefore had nothing do with putting it on PC GP.

Dreams needs to be multiplatform asap…. Maybe update the engine for current consoles. I’m ok with paying a small amount for a ps5 update, would gladly pay full price elsewhere

All joking aside, fyi Shawn, I've had EVERY playstation console released... some day one, some years after release. I've most definitely played more playstation games than most here and I'm a fan.
I'm just not a fan of you Shawn lol
