Kojima is a notoriously slow and detailed developer/director but this time he didn't need to create a new engine from scratch which had to have sped things up. I read he even opened a satellite studio in Amsterdam so his engineers could be close to Guerrilla Games for technical advice on their engine. That right there must have cost Sony a pretty penny and I salute their efforts to give this team what they need to create something original.
I need to see more gameplay though. Throat Fetus is still so damn creepy and weird but I love it.
I knew someone would make this the second I saw that trailer, it fits so well lol. Yeah I don't know what to make of this game either, can't be excited about it since I don't get it but I do want to learn more.
Bring it on, lol. I never got into MGS but for some reason I'm looking forward to this. Probably because it's a fresh start for Kojima. Honestly I think he's pretentious and over-rated, but I'm curious to see what his "genius" comes up with, now that it's unhooked from the MGS franchise. I doubt it'll make much sense, but I think it'll be entertaining and original.
