With this being on PS Plus Extra, I assume this won't be on Xbox anytime soon. Weird how the owner of the game can't even put it on their own system.

Year exclusive same with Ghostwire which MS knew about and honoured rather than paid out.

Right, but it's free in September on PS Plus Extra/Premium/Essentials/BHAAHAHAAH no idea which one. And AFAIK, if something is on PS Plus, then it can't be on Game Pass. So it seems that it won't come out in September, which is the year anniversary.

We'll see, but you think Microsoft would have been doing everything they possibly can to get some new games out on Xbox this fall considering their complete lack of anything substantial until 2023.

Kind of interesting how it came out on PS PLUS first over Gamepass considering the exclusivity should be ending.

Not true. There are a bunch of games on both services. Ghost Recon Wildlands for example.

Well duh, they have contracts and exclusivity. Lol.
Right, but I am talking about something else that has happened in the past. It has something to do with games not being able to launch the same day in each respective service, or something similar. It might date back to the Bethesda purchase. Something about Sony having a game on PS Now/PS Plus or whatever, that was a Bethesda game. MS couldn't put it on Game Pass or whatever, until the game left PS Now even though MS now owned it.

Sony would have paid MS. It's already on PS so I doubt they care about it being on Plus just before it comes to GP.

Don't think MS cares as much these days as long as they have exposure. I was thinking of buying this before but good thing I held off.

Sony paying money to Microsoft and then providing free advertising for a Microsoft game on their PS+ service is a weird middle finger.

I was looking at it more we will put this on our subscription service before it comes to yours, the advertising thing is a good point get more people talking about it, money's a drop in the water.

All these things are done on a game by game basis. Just cause that happened doesn't = will be the case for all games.

Right. So WTF is going on with Deathloop? Where is the Xbox version announcement?

MS is allowing it, that is how little they care.

If others are to be believed they can't until after the 14th.
Isn't that weird? Contract, sure. But damn, MS f***ing owns the game. How about "Deathloop coming to you after our 1 year contract agreement on September 14!"

They could just say f*** the contract. So stupid. Oh well Not like I am buying it anyway 😂

Not weird. Why would you buy exclusivity just to let a competing platform undermine it every week? It makes perfect sense.

They could, but why bother? They also gave their word that contracts would be honoured. Wouldn't be worth breaking that for this game or at all really.
