I'm shocked that the people of Reddit are so high on it. It feels like a cheap way to make the grind longer. Drops are super rare plus there's tons of duplicates. I've gotten 2 exotic engrams and both were just year 1 duplicate items.

Instead of making me want to grind more, it makes me want to go play something else and wait for them to fix the drop rates.

The whole thing with the subclasses kind of sucks too. I don't think people even know how to get the 3rd subclass yet.

It feels cheap instead of challenging. People who play a ton more than me aren't doing hardly any better.

It is a cheap way to make the grind longer, and it was done because there is so little new loot in the game...especially weapons and exotic wise(from drops).

Are all the weapons even dropping yet? have not seen a single Ether Doctor assault rifle yetfrom the Tangled Shore. Not seen the Dreaming City Sniper either.

I am on Level 6, about to be 7. I can see how people get addicted to this, lol.

I'm glad you see the same thing. I go on reddit and it is like none of those people ever played D1.

There's definitely time gates going on. People who play a lot more than me still aren't getting much more.

People say that's "just RNG" but nobody seems to be getting anything.

I get much from The Dreaming City...
Multiple Tiger Spites(great gun btw)
A sniper, shotgun, rocket launcher(amazing),scout rifle and a fate bringerish hand cannon.

Seems like loot is releasing as time goes by...
Am 535 thus far with my main and still have things i can do.

Wow... just spent two hours in the Blind Well. Got one exotic. My thumbs are numb. I say "one more round" and I get my seed of light!

I was just playing with randoms too. Super cool.

I admit, I was griping but the game is pulling me back in. The drop rates are still awful and I swear it isn't very "random".

Tiger Spite is good. I fully Master worked mine..only has triple tap and grave robber, though. I like grave robber, but find triple tap a litlle wasted on an AR.

I'm 538 at the moment.

I got a scout (Distant Relation) with ambitious assassin and full auto. The amb. assassin perk seems really good, especially for Blind Well. Keeps reloading the gun as you get headshots (and the gun is stable enough to keep doing that).

What are people finding good for PVP? I may get into iron banner this week some. I've got some good hand cannons, but it is tough to compete with shotguns (especially the Chaperone). I haven't been finding the good pulse rifles everyone seems to be using (get the same stupid gun to drop over and over).

I usually hold my own. I go with the Ace of Spades and Fate Cries Foul. My heavy is The Bad Omen.

i like the slower drop rates. Makes it a bigger deal when you get something really good.

I'm just getting burnt out on it faster. It also doesn't quite feel "random" either. I can't quite explain it.

It feels like there just isn't much content here.

Like making subclasses "endgame" now feels kind of cheap.

Retribution is one of the worst maps I have ever played on any FPS. I wish I could remove it from my rotation.

I don't like any of the PVP maps. I had to jump into PVP for the Ace quest and being forced to use a hand cannon reminded me of how bad most of the maps are. I don't know how long I'll last in Iron Banner. Supposedly they will be giving out powerful rewards for playing. I don't see why they made level matter again either.

I also haven't gotten any of the good pvp guns to drop yet which is annoying. I swear I get 3-5 copies of the same gun and then it moves on to the next, with an Edge Transit or Vestigan Dynasty mixed in.

Don't worry bout it. Just use Graviton or Crimson. They still wreck.

I gotta play IB cause I want that Hunter Armour set.

Plagues of the well are the bosses at the end of each tier of the Blind Well, right?

I have a purification ritual that requires me to defeat a plague of the well while ascendant. Not entirely sure how to complete it.

I think the ascendant thing is actually different than you need though. I haven't gotten that either yet.

The Blind Well has Servants of the Plague. They have a shield that is indestructible, unless you get a buff from an enemy called an Anathemas (they glow so they are obvious).

The big problem I ran into in Blind Well is the framerate goes to sh** on console with so much going on. It was really hard to keep track of things at times.

Ok finally reinstalling Destiny 2. Only gave it about 4 hours the first time. Didn’t click. Haven’t played a single game online. Figure I need to at the very least try one raid before writing this franchise off. Here goes the grind.

I got a powerful drop last night that was lower than my light level. Is this normal?

Reddit finally catching on to the lack of loot issue.

Funny thing is they already bought back D1 armour sets to flesh it out. Both the Prodical and Tangled Web armour is from D1 Pretty sure the Riverie Dawn armour is from D1 too.

And this is a full blown expansion. Now imagine how much the 'smaller' DLCs will have.

Yeah honestly I'm having some fairly big buyers regret. This isn't a grind, it is a very slow grip of very little content.

I sort of assumed I had a lot more to unlock, but then I look at my collections and there's not that much left.

I mean, I'll still play and do the milestones and wait for RNG to bless me with new stuff, but I don't feel sucked in to this. I honestly enjoyed Warmind more. Maybe I'm just burnt out on the game (feel very much like I am). I find myself playing other games a ton more lately. I don't mean to bash it, I'm just not feeling it.
