I think it's the weekly, you can also d pad over and buy forge polymer I just found out. Says it gets you an armor drop on forge completion.
Oh Right yeah. I know what you mean now..

Sweet will see if I can get some of that.

Thanks.

Seems fine to me...not really all that different than most of the content in the game.

That's the big problem in all this new content. Everything is do a quest, get a gun. It is an ok gameplay loop, but for whatever reason, nothing feels really special.

And stuck! Can't get the 3rd forge cause nobody does Spire Intergration public event in the Hallows. The only heroic public event I can't solo, frustrating.

The Menagerie is utter chaos. Can't really judge it yet as I feel you need to be 710 minimum and I'm only 693 right now. Was getting one hit killed alot.

I was stuck there also. Nobody ever goes to the Hallows, luckily two other guys were in the same position I was and we just happened to be there at the same time. I'd run it with you but I'm on PS4.

The Izanami forge quest is just annoying to be honest.

Funhily enough, I wdnt to Hallows and tried soloing, did the first ring and then 2 people showed up and jumped in. Only took nearly 2 days.

The 3 other public event step should be easier.

That quest is exactly what is wrong with the game currently. A seemingly easy task, but good luck finding people to do it. There's no reason for other players to ever go to that spot on the map, so once they get this quest done, they are gone.

It was annoying to find people soon after Black Armory was released. It has to be even harder now.

Just wait until you get to the Izanami forge. You have to throw balls from 2 lower platforms up to a main one. It is easy to do, assuming that you find 2 people who know what they are doing. Nobody uses mics so it is fun to coordinate. Basically you have to wait and see where others go and try not to waste too much time.

Had the exotic Arbalist drop today. Such a funny weapon, sounds like a pea shooter but hits like a truck

I been trying to put together an ability build for my hunter. Been going decent so far and at times my throwing knives seem infinite. You think some gauntlets will drop with impact induction? Nope..gauntlets barely drop at all.

How do you get gear with the enhanced perks on them--like Enhanced Bomber?

Unfortunately (unless something changed), they only drop from Dreaming City stuff (which is fairly annoying and tedious) or raids. The drop rates are pretty low and of course you're still at the mercy of RNG.

The even weak RPG elements that D1 had are just gone right now. The weapons all feel the same. The armor perks do little, and good luck finding a random combo that is useful.

They've improved a few things, but the same core problems remain. Lack of depth and nothing feels special. They've changed the loot grind into a power level grind, making your gear mostly useless as you level up quickly.

I'm taking a big break from this game. I might jump back in in September. I pop in once a week to grind a few power levels but that's it. Hopefully the new expansion will bring in more RPG elements.

Dreaming City only? Seems odd. Would have thought all year 2 could have them if they originated in Forsaken.

You're not wrong on the rest, though. I am 717 right now and can do everything just fine, so no longer focusing on power and am focused on my ability build. More space magic, less guns.

The armor is bizarre. People have been asking for it for ages. Supposedly the September DLC is going to add a lot more of the perks we'd expect.

Part of it is I am just burnt out on loot games. I've been getting back into my SP backlog and maybe I'll jump back in for September.

I stopped playing for 6 or 7 months. It is ridiculous that in 6 months and 3 DLCs the game hasn't really improved at all.

The more I read this, maybe you can go back and forth with characters.

I can't tell where they are talking about merging vs playing on 2 different platforms (say you had a separate character on PC and console right now).

You definitely can't take anything you bought with you which sucks. Not sure how that applies to Eververse stuff you get from free packages.

You mean you can't take your silver with you to the platform you choose, the stuff you bought from Eververse will transfer.

Yeah thanks, I think I was reading that wrong. Only your silver balance doesn't come over (not a big deal).

It seems it really is going to work as well as everyone thought (the only complication comes from merging characters from different platforms)

I may switch over to PC now if I can keep going back to console. I don't really want to PVP against mouse and keyboard, but I don't play much PVP anymore anyway.

I think I was doing what I always say others do - assume Bungie will screw things up!

Yeah it does seem to work exactly as expected. I guess I'll be buying Forsaken and Shadowkeep on 2 platforms now.

I have to say, the first couple DLCs this season weren't very good, but I a back into the game now. Menagerie is tons of fun. Destiny has been missing something like this for a long time. I finally got Chaperone and Bad Juju this weekend too.

As much as I say I hate these games, they dominate my gaming hours. I finally got an SSD for my PS4 and ZOMG. I highly recommend one for Destiny. With all the constant loading screens it is huge. For your average "load once and play" games it isn't as huge a deal but Destiny is a whole new game.
