Hey guys,

Did you like Dishonored? How was the DLC?

I would like to know your final verdict.
 
I enjoyed Dishonored a lot, although by the time I was done, I'd had enough, so I didn't bother with the DLC. But I enjoyed the game -- and that's coming from someone who generally doesn't like stealth games.
 
Hey guys,

I saw the vanilla copy on clearance at Best Buy for $9.99. That's why I was considering it.

So Andy, you were about done after the main campaign?
 
one of the games of the generation for me. can't imagine any stealth fans not liking it. both story DLC's are good gameplay wise, though i didn't like the creepy setting of brigmore witches
 
The main story DLCs (Knife of Dunwell & Bridgmore Witches)have more content together than many full games. Totally worth it if you enjoy the main game.

One of the best & original game last gen. Story is just to get the game going. Only main complain is lack of tools for no kill/Steath gameplay. I end up using mainly blink & the occasionally slow down time.
 
You can get the GOTY edition, it include all the DLCs.

Yeah, I was a bit tired of the mechanics by the time I was at the 80% mark. But I'm that way about most games. It's a testament to Dishonored that I stayed interested for that long, considering I normally get bored very quickly with most stealth games.

Having the "Blink" ability always available really opened things up. I had fun figuring out how I wanted to approach situations. Lots of fun possibilities.

I liked the game world, too. It felt very distinctive, a mix of old England and futuristic elements. I think the world design was done by the guy who did Half Life 2. It had the feeling of a real place, despite the somewhat cartoonish looking characters.
 
Unique game. A must play, IMO.

Non-Linear gameplay, great art style (and Graphics), awesome story and just all around a fantastic and very unique experience. Matter of fact you reminded me...I'll have to replay it (Still have it installed) The DLC's are fantastic as well.
 
So cool guys,

I picked up the last copy from Best Buy for $9.99. I'm looking forward to it. I consider it one of my last purchases from the old generation. Thank you for your thoughts
