Drakengard 3 Releasing on May 20

$50, I've heard, and just to clarify, this is for the PS3, not PS4.
Never played a Drakengard game before, so not sure whether I'd like it or not. Seems a bit melodramatic, judging by the trailer. You could probably say that of most JRPG trailers.

Ordered the CE. Resist it's allure, I could not. Only thing that sucks is that the soundtrack is just a crappy sampler CD and not the whole thing. You'll still need to import the $40 disc to get it all. But that novella is certainly appealing.
But apparently both the Standard and CE versions of the game are exclusive to S-E's online shop. Tomb Raider sold well, and they were still complaining about craptacular sales. Aren't they just shooting themselves in the foot with sales potential here? I understand it's still a somewhat niche Japanese title, but you sell more copies if you let it out to retail where people can see it on a shelf. Otherwise they might not even know it exists.

Doubt it will happen. The PS3 still has a good bit of life left in it. Plus there are way more PS3 consoles out there. There's too much money on the table for them to cut support just yet.
