Dreamcast 2

lol Dreamcast was my favorite system for the short time it was out, but I don't think Dreamcast will ever happen again. Sega just doesn't have the revenue or titles to compete anymore in this market.

Best console ever but the dream is only going to remain a dream sadly. I'd pay anything for a shenmue 3 disc, but the truth is we'll never see ryo hazuki have his revenge.

I have alot of fond memories with dreamcast, I remember I believe I was either 11 or 12, my parents surprised me with it when I came home from school one day. The graphics of Sonic Adventure were jaw dropping, and playing PSO, Quake, UT, and others online with a 56K modem was revolutionary console wise back then. That was a great time for gaming.

Then people found out how to play burned games without the need of a modchip or bootdisk or anything, straight self boot. :hehe:

I remember waiting in line at walmart for the dreamcast. There was my brother and I...and then one other person in line. lol Loved that system though. Just ahead of its time.

I stopped at Best Buy on the way home from work on launch day and picked one up on impulse. One of the best decisions ever.

It is a great console.

Some of my most memorable gaming experiences on the Dreamcast were Crazy Taxi, San Francisco Rush 2049, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Soul Calibur, Power Stone, Jet Grind Radio and NFL Blitz. I am sure there are many more that I enjoyed, that I can't think of right now.

I have a barely used Dreamcast that a relative gave me a couple of weeks ago sitting here. I just have to buy an AV cable for it and I'll be ready to go. =)

and the VMU (memory cards) were > than all and were definitely revolutionary. The batteries for them just died quickly and were a little pricey >_<

oh and Power stone 1 and 2 > all.

The Shenmue3 disk is just MEAN!

A retro Dreamcast console with the entire DC library loaded onto it, with a dual analog controller?
Would pay the original launch price of $199 for it.

Sega of today? No thanks.

Would have been cool if the XBox was BC with the Dreamcast like it was considered at one point.

I got my DC a few weeks after launch at of all places a pawn shop which were all over the place in Fl where I lived at the time. I had games like Sonic, Crazy Taxi, and the best RE game out at the time Code Veronica, I LOVED that they put the health meter on the VMU screen so you could see your status in real time without having to pause the game. I sadly traded in my DC and 10 games to get a xbox for 100 bucks off in 2002 that I still have to this day. I would not mind getting another one in the future but I am sure it wont look very nice on my 40" LED tv compared to the PS3/360.
