I heard you can't discuss or share any content in the Dreams Beta which is pretty stupid. The game needs all the exposure it can get.
Yeah, it kind of makes me think the game is still a ways off. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a Q4 or even 2020 game at this point.

I kinda don’t get it. Watched a couple videos, but it’s like a game engine but playing out like it’s a game?
Any good videos which explain what it actually does please? It looks amazing but confused to what it actually is lol.

It's a complete game engine, it's also a complete DAW with modular possibilities... You can even create your own Synth! And that's only a fraction of it! The campaign is only there to show what you can do... I'm under NDA so won't go into details... But this will blow minds when it's released.... Hell it's already doing that now... With only 20-25% of the tools available in the beta.

It's YouTube for videogames.

A small percentage of people will make games in it. Most/All players will find what they like.

Thanks for the replies guys. So if someone makes a game worthy of publishing, could they do this? And if so what about royalties etc
Has MM said anything about this? Like Epic taking 5% etc

Its honestly one of the most interesting rendering and creation tech to come out in a long time. Really innovative tech.

People with zero development experience are making games in no time. It's so innovative it's insane. You can literally create almost anything. Star wars, dead space, and convincing too. Also, psvr games.

You have to see and try it to believe it.... No wonder that MM has had a hard time explaining Dreams. You can make games, movies, music, art etc"

Really!?
"Yup"

But music!?

"Yeah there's a complete DAW in there with Modular capabilities"

Seriously!?
"Yup you can tweak sounds, Create sounds from scratch, you can even tweak our ready made instruments like synths and guitar etc.... Or create your own"

*starts the beta*

*Mind blown*

So it looks like Dreams has no limitations in it's graphics and art style.

Can you import your own 3D models? Made in Blender for eg?
