Dual Booting

Does anyone do this? With some games running better on Windows 8 I was considering buying a copy, but I don't want to lose my Windows 7. Is it safe or problematic? Thanks

You need at least two partitions to dual boot. If you don't already have two partitions, you will need to copy personal data to an external drive so you can wipe the hard drive clean so that two partitions can be made. If you do have to wipe the drive to make the two partitions, make very sure you install Windows 7 first and Windows 8 second, and it will save you a lot of headaches.
