Won't be bothering with this. All I need from Ubisoft is a Riders Republic release date.

Edit: still going, still garbage

I enjoyed the campaigns, the stories they did for BF1 were great and the campaign in BF4 was pretty good. The MP issues they've had in the last few games had nothing to do with the campaigns it's because they've focused too much on scripted set pieces instead of letting the players bring most of the structures down. I know some are excited about doubling the player count on next gen consoles and larger maps but unless that allows for more destructible structures etc it's just going to be more of the same on a bigger scale. I'm sure the larger maps are fine for people who like to pilot the jets, personally I could never control them well enough to do much other than fly around and crash into someone after a while lol so those do nothing for me.BF campaigns suck balls. The series was at its best when it was MP only.
And yet, the fact remains. This series was at its best when MP only.I enjoyed the campaigns, the stories they did for BF1 were great and the campaign in BF4 was pretty good. I agree. There hasn't been a Splinter Cell since Blacklist and that was in 2013 on the PS3/PC/Xbox360. Like WTF? Instead we get more recycled games like Farcry 6 and boring ass WatchDogs Legion. Assassins Creed Valhalla wasn't so bad though. I just can't finish the game. I still have AC fatigue from finishing Odyssey.Ubisoft need to go ahead and sell the Splinter Cell IP. Give it to someone who's going to use it.
I fell asleep for a bit. Had to go to my fridge to grab a Monster.Ubisoft presentation was snoozefeat
It's not a fact it's your opinion, the best MP in the series for me was BC2 and that had a campaign, BF3 had a campaign and great MP too, the series started dropping with BF4 (MP was still ok) and it wasn't because of campaigns it's because the maps starting being centered on set piece destruction, then with BF5 and BF1 it just all got too boring IMO. Battlefield 1 could be fun in some maps but others just got boring and too repetitive. I think DICE has just forgotten to have fun and are taking things too seriously. That being said none of them are bad MP experiences they just aren't as fun as they used to be and the more they focus on levolution and restrict the player caused destruction the more limiting the MP gameplay will feel IMO.And yet, the fact remains. This series was at its best when MP only.
Have you ever played 128 player on large maps that isn't BR? I have, and it was great. It was in a PC game called Joint Operations. Had so much fun in that game.

The ONLY plus side to it for me was it was easier to fly the planes since they didn't go as fast lol, I suck at flying jets in BF games, even the big maps are too small to really do much in them. I'm sure the new maps will make that a little easier but I hope the extra ground space doesn't lead to even more running forever without seeing anyone because they are all in another part of the map.Its because WW1 and 2 are boring time periods for Battlefield. Hope they never go back.
Yeah ok dude. Yeah, been a bit of a stinker so far.Pretty much nothing of note yet. Except Elden Ring (I know, that was SGF)
Hope tomorrow brings something interesting although TBH outside Starfield not sure what to be hyped for if Avowed, PD, Fable etc arent there.
Give it to the Hitman dev.Ubisoft need to go ahead and sell the Splinter Cell IP. Give it to someone who's going to use it.
