LOVING this game!! Level 51 now and honestly one of the best RPG’s I have played! (Yeah I know its a souls game…)
My son (who finished it a couple times) has been telling me for months to play it, and I have some time off work so thought I would dive in!
Only thing is, I didn’t even know there were quests to do
, I was just riding around and killing stuff! and having a blast doing so! Didn’t know there was an actual storyline and quests etc. My son popped in my office (ahem games room) and was watching me play when he told me to go speak to this person for a certain quest etc.
So how on earth do you find out where quests are please? As it’s not like your typical RPG, as it doesn’t seem to hold your hand. Do you just explore and stumble across them?

My GOTY 2024 is the DLC.
Yeah I wanted the Nagakiba sword, so jumped online to find out how to do the quest. There is no way people could do this quest line without a guide, as there are no hints where to go next. How the hell do you know to touch the red sign on that bridge, which in turn is pretty hard to get to as you need 2 halves of a medallion to access the lift.
You must just stumble across things, then go from there which is fine! Actually I love looking up info online, I used to do it with Skyrim and I love the RnD besides actually playing the game.
Well I got my sword, so now back to just exploring, adventuring and seeing where my path takes me….
Level 56 now and loving it!! Game is epic!!
Nearly level 100 and man this is easily one of the best games I have played!! I am loving it!! The gameplay and world are amazing!!

Ok this is definitely one of the best games I have ever played!! Level 132 now, just beat the fire giant and it just gets better and better!!
Mohg took me ages to beat!! Finally did it a couple days ago then beat quite a few bosses and mini bosses in a row.
I actually love the gameplay where you have to level up, get better weapons, gear, talismans etc to fight stronger enemies or enter areas which are much higher levels.
I am not a fan of RPG’s where the enemy scales to the player, defeats the purpose for me.
I like it when I am low level and have to work my way up the ladder and get stronger to access other areas of the game. Fantastic!

So if you don’t mind me asking, is it a new map completely please? Or just the same map where you can access different parts of it?
YW it has a whole new leveling up system that's different than the base game.Wow thank you
Well I am only level 130+ so I will finish Elden Ring first then more than likely pick up the DLC
