Another online ES game? So that means a Skyrim 2 will come out in..... 2020? Geez.

If Bethesda's coffers keep filling up with cash due to online games, it may not bode well for Fallout and Skyrim SP games.

Heck, maybe their next game is Fallout Online.

This is an expansion.

Yeah, no interest in the online version of Elder Scrolls nor the upteenth iteration of Skyrim.

Not going to lie but I could be tempted by this. I played ESO for ages and really liked it.

I've thought about getting into ESO a couple times. You can get it pretty cheap. I just never knew how good it is.

I picked it up for 20 euro a year or so ago and got loads of fun out of it. I finished one of the faction story lines which took nearly 100 hours of gameplay so if you want to finish all 3 , you'll definitely get value for money. The environments were nicely varied as well.

I'm playing it off and on right now. It's really good actually.

Never had any interest in Elder Scrolls Online. No idea why. I like MMO's and i like Bethesda games.

I am a bit shock that your an old school FFXI like me and never got into this MMORPG.

This is really good and its a lot of people playing.

That's not Morrowind.

Where are the Cliff Racers eh?

This is coming out in a week or so. $40 expansion to ESO. All platforms, except Switch.

There's a new class, Warden. You can start in Vvardenfell, if you like. It can be played as a single-player adventure -- in fact, a lot of people do that. You do need to be always connected online, though. The game got a lot of grief initially, but I've heard it has really turned around.

I love Morrowind, so I'm tempted, but I recently finished spending a couple of months in Skyrim. I'm not ready to return to ES yet. Plus the online/MMO aspects dampen my enthusiasm a bit, and it isn't developed by Bethesda. So I won't be buying, at least not for a while. Still, I'm interested in impressions.

I shouldn't get this because I still have Zelda and Injustice to play but I will totally be all over it when it comes out.

I got ESO on sale for $10 about a month or so ago on XBOne. I love it. It is a lot of fun to play even solo. I got out of MMO's years ago and what I like about this one is I can log in play a hour or so and feel like I accomplished something.

Not sure if I'll ever get to this expansion. Looks great though.

Eso is awesome! I've out nearly 200 hours into it and most of that is solo. I will probably get this for sure but want to get my first character to level 50 first. 46 now.

Cool. Still haven't tried Elder Scrolls Online yet but loved Morrowind on the OG Xbox. Maybe i'll have to get into this.

I'm interested in buying this game. I'm just worried that I'd be coming in too late. Is there still room for beginners?

Started playing ESO and I like it, it's not amazing but it's pretty good and it does have some charm. It does make me wish that the single player games would get a more viable 3rd person combat option though, it's still not perfect in this game but it feels a little better and animates much better than the single player games.

I've also been playing Oblivion again on the One X because it enhances it and while it looks very nice there it just makes me wish they'd give us a full remaster of that game. 4K cleans the game up nicely but it can't make the awful textures look any better or the faces on the character models.

I was thinking of playing the X-enhanced version of Oblivion one day. I never liked the original all that much, because it seemed like such a step down from Morrowind in terms of its design (when people were expecting a step forward). I ought to give it a second chance.

Speaking of the faces on character models, you're right, but then again, it could be worse. I was feeling nostalgic for Syphon Filter yesterday and watched a little of this Let's Play. Although I could remember the layouts and enemies (weirdly, after 20 years), I did not remember how bad the faces on the character models were. Check out 30 seconds of this:

Looks like they have paper masks stapled to their heads. So, just remember, it could be worse, lol

Weird I was just going to see if there was a thread for this game lol. I've had the base game for at least a year now. Never did get Morrowind. I like it but for some reason my friend and I will start a playthrough for several days an then just stop playing. We've done that two or three times now. Now with Summerset coming out in a couple weeks and the pre-order deal for $30 which includes Morrowind, we've decided to start playing it again.

I picked up the one that includes all of the original game and the expansions plus the upcoming Summerset expansion. I like that you can play most of it solo if you want. I've heard a lot of people complain about the graphics but for an MMO they look pretty good to me.

This is just me being a jerk in the mages guild but the 4K does make everything look sharp but I think a full remaster with new assets would do wonders for the game. One thing I have to say is the sky still stands out as one of the best in gaming, great clouds and colors.

That looks a lot sharper than the original. And I agree about the skies. Bethesda has a talent for that. I remember stopping and staring at the night sky in Morrowind all the time. Beautiful. People underestimate how much something like that can contribute to a feeling of immersion or a sense of place.

Yeah the great skies and the relaxing music that's played when you walk around in the wild helps make the experience.

I picked up ESO awhile back for $10. From what I played at the time I really liked it. I just got side tracked and never went back to playing it. These new expansions is giving me an itch.

I for one thought the game looked nice for a console MMO even on the One S. I haven’t played it since getting the One X, I believe it got a X update.
