Elite Series 2 $154.99 (Warranty Extended) Core 129.99 - Core On Sale For 99 USD

Insert the “I wouldn’t be more surprised now than if I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet” gif.

I have an Xbox One X, Elite 1 controller, X1X controller, Xbox One S controller, Xbox OG controller, Xbox One OG and an Xbox One S. Zero issues with any of them, ever.

But my DS4 stopped working. With so many people having DS4 issues, we are losing confidence in Sony quality.

Opposite for nme, I have about 8 or 9 Xbox One controller and have had issues with about 4 of them. 3 of them being issues right out of the box.

Only had 1 very minor issues with 1 of my 6 DS4s and that is with my 20th anniversary one is a little creeky/not solid feeling in my left hand and it's been like that since I got it. Not a huge deal but it's annoying for sure

Just shows that both companies have faulty controllers. Not everyone has the same experience. And it’s not consistent.

I got into a little customization over the weekend and boy I don't know how I ever played games without the elite controller before.

DS4 has been s*** in comparison to XBO's controller in me and my family's experience.

I was mocking Jinca.

But seriously never any issues with any Xbox controller ever and only one DS issue with a stick.

I eventually have problems with all my controllers from the 360 days till now. I also play a lot of MP shooters so that could be a cause. The buggiest is stick drift it always happens eventually.

I’ve thought about getting an Elite controller from time to time then I’ve read people having problems with those too.

I got a razer ultimate edition last month for 179 bucks (elite is 279) and am really loving it, it doesn't feel quite as good as the elite but very close. The buttons are springs so no more stuck buttons for me! And also has a couple very useful triggers next to the bumpers.

I really wanted the elite I just got scared because of how my last one crapped out.

So. My right thumb stick on my series 1 broke. Now when you click in it sticks and sometimes doesn’t work at all.

how’s everybody’s experience with series 2?

also, why is thing sold out everywhere lol?

Happened to me, bought a replacement part and opened the controller up, it's a bit finicky to change but mine works great now.

I looked up videos. Saw that you have unsolder and solder stuff. Too advance for me haha.

I ordered the series 2. just happened to go up in stock on gamestop a few minutes ago lol.

I've been sitting on giftcards i received for like 2-3 years now. With their future uncertain, totally cool with using them to get it haha.

Link worked fine.

Don't you have to unsolder and resolder those pins on the bottom? That's what I saw on youtube.
Honestly, I didn't follow a guide. I opened it up and saw that the module was broken (a bit of plastic had broken loose) so googled around and found the part and ordered it. Didn't cost much and controller was basically useless so took a chance. No soldering at all, but not much space to work in. My baby hands finally had a reason to exist.

I love my series 2, but I feel like the thing is poorly constructed. Sent one in because of massive stick drift, disconnection issues, and the trigger stop things on the back broke off.

Microsoft sent me a second one that was brand new which was awesome of them. This new one is having stick drift problems now.

I know they extended the warranty for much longer for this issue. Whish they would figure it out.

I had a little bit of stick drift, but I was able to tighten up the tension a tiny bit and it seems to have gone away. I've luckily not had any other issues.

Ugh...would love to get one of these but am scarred from my series one....grips on both sides came out and right bumper is dodgy. Also, the stick drift issue is giving me pause. Think I'll stick to regular controllers for now until I see a really good deal on one of these. Not having the share button that the X|S controller has isn't a big deal to me....wonder if a series 3 is in the works?

I’ve got the first one, never had any issue with it other than my niece losing the dpad, which now I hide it sometimes even from myself

I just sent my second one in today because of stick drift and disconnection issues.
I haven’t had any of those issues with my controllers...except for one that may be either my fault or the build quality of the USB port on the controller, it’ll like recede further in or sink ever so little that I have to readjust it upwards for there to be a connection.
