Eurogamer article on CD Projekt

This article is the shizzle. Dayum. What a story.

Everyone, please read this! What a crazy journey. How could Witcher 2 have come out from a bunch of polish people who didn't know anything about game development? lawyers, doctors, school teachers. INSANE! Insane I say!

It certainly also explains why they're so dedicated to DRM free gaming. I've rebought some of my old PC games on GOG just to support them a little more.

Yeah, they really understand that gamers will support game developers. I am getting furious with DVDs that I have paid good money for because everytime I wanna put them on I have to sit through all sorts of PSAs and Ads that can't be skipped. GRRR.

Great article. Just wish they would've talked about cyberpunk more.

Are you telling me school teachers right here and right now are building better and more enjoyable games than Square-Enix?? Say it ain't so!

Just think about how much more forward Witcher 2 was compared to all other RPGs.

The level of voice acting, lip syncing, motion capture, storytelling, cut scenes, editing, action choreography. I mean, just the production values was on pair with Game of Thrones. It's incredible. These people with no, know-how.

I'm just glad they were able to keep things going, they are obviously an awesome studio and the Witcher 3 is easily one of my most anticipated games next gen.

I'm a bit concerned actually. My own theory is that expanding always has consequences, and actions causes reactions.

Making a great game takes almost everything a studio got. It's such a difficult job, so when a company goes out and says: the story will be even better, but it will be open world and we will have more story.
That's crazy to me. To say a game will have the freedom of skyrim, but unlike elder scrolls games, have the story quality of a linear game like witcher 2. That doesn't seem realistic in my brain. I hope they pull it off, I just think it will be costly.
