Better get your VPN's ready. There's going to be a whole lot of "The content you are trying to view is not available in your country." Article 13 passed. It could still not be adopted, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

Politicians passing poorly worded laws involving technology they don't understand, what could possibly go wrong?

Article 11 and 17 (the article formerly known as 13) have two years to implement them but it’s up to the union members to define them, cos frick are they broad in defining them

At 933 if it doesn’t start at said time stamp

Interesting. I heard absolutely nothing about this. He makes a good point about unintended consequences but the picture he is painting is very much a worse case scenario. We have a law over here in Europe called GDPR and it is around data security and confidentiality. This sounds like a spin off from that.

Not really on this thread, but speaking of Full Stupid - Brexit.

They've killed May's deal, heavily, twice.

They've voted down the option of "no deal" I think twice.

Today they had "indicative votes" on eight different ways forward, ranging from outright revoking the process to leave, to joining the custom union, to other various motions. All failed.

The rollout of Brexit is making Anthem look like a well-planned, well-executed launch.
