Pretty decent opening to the show. If you haven't already, I recommend checking out the character vignettes in the Disney Plus series, Marvel Legends. They give a good recap into each of the main characters of the show.

Just watched the pilot, it was okay.

So I'm guessing this is where Falcon emerges as the new Captain America by the end of the series with Bucky as his sidekick.

One of a few possibilities, he could pass it on to someone else that isn’t him or Bucky. I kinda feel like that may be the case because they could stay as the buddy cop pals on Disney and who ever takes the mantle would be someone younger

Just watched it last night, was pretty enjoyable, action scenes were pretty top notch, looking forward to more.

I'm already a couple weeks behind on this. Am I the only one who got a little burnt out on Marvel stuff having this start immediately after Wandavision ended?

The problem is Marvel has been setting the bar so high. A show like this is "fine" but it isn't as interesting as Wanda.

You should have done the smart thing and not watched Wandavision because it blew

I got caught up over the weekend, the last two episodes were pretty cool.

Maybe it's just my system, but this show's DolbyVision implementation seems better than a lot of other Disney+ efforts.

I really like this show. But Daniel Bruhl is killing it as Zemo. The writing for him is well done but his witty delivery is awesome.

I'm not a fan of the villains. They're hokey and not scary at all.

I am liking where the show is going with Walker though! Also, how the heck do you catch a flying shield through the arm straps?

I just learned there's only one episode left. I thought this was perhaps the halfway point of the season lmfao.

These Marvel shows have done very little to move the needle in terms of the MCU, except to setup Wanda's and Falcon's roles for future films and provide other minor details. Also, the Flag Smashers are a joke.

Hate they made this about race.

I thought I read somewhere episode 6 was midseason break...like what the Walking Dead does.

Because they aren't actually villians.

What I love about the antagonists is they are still showing just how right Thanos was.

My issue with injecting race issues into shows like this and Watchmen is that these are highly fictional shows, which to me, ends up trivializes those issues by virtue of being a COMIC BOOK SUPERHERO SHOW. Furthermore, the uninformed viewer is unable to distinguish actual historical info from the fiction of the show, which further trivializes the issues/history.

But it’s based on actual events, and stuff they did to serviceman and public

The comics even touched on said issues.

If the viewer can’t distinguish fact from history then their was some failure somewhere.... if they find sakovia on the globe or red skull’s family line then we’re part of the MCU, just what flat earth universe are we in.

But seriously, watch this for a more in depth and detailed info on what and why they touched on said subjects

But no self respecting *enter race here* would watch that.

That whole line in regards to accepting the mantle of Cap Merica is dumb as f***.
