Same. Otherwise I'd be all over this. But my backlog is so large...this doesn't help.

Wow.Sony says no to Mods in Fallout 4:
After months of discussion with Sony, we regret to say that while we have long been ready to offer mod support on PlayStation 4, Sony has informed us they will not approve user mods the way they should work: where users can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition.
Like you, we are disappointed by Sony’s decision given the considerable time and effort we have put into this project, and the amount of time our fans have waited for mod support to arrive. We consider this an important initiative and we hope to find other ways user mods can be available for our PlayStation audience. However, until Sony will allow us to offer proper mod support for PS4, that content for Fallout 4 and Skyrim on PlayStation 4 will not be available.
We will provide an update if and when this situation changes.

Yeah, and remember the hoopla Sony promoted last gen when Unreal Tourney 3 had custom levels on PS3? You could even play modded PC levels. Funny how this gen, things go 180 for each.Unbelievable, after all the bs and waiting, sony tell us they're not allowed on playstation.
I guarantee I will be getting the next Elder Scrolls on Scorpio, better visuals and mods, definitive as fvck.
PlayStation 3 version[edit]
The PlayStation 3 version supports community-made mods that can be uploaded and downloaded to the PS3's HDD or external media, as well as mouse and keyboard inputs. The 1.1 patch was released on March 21, 2008. It adds the ability for players using the North American and European versions to play together, fixes problems with some USB headsets, and displays the lowest pinging servers at top of the server list. Some updates only applied on the North American version, since the PAL version released in March 2008 was already partially updated.[7] The 2.0 patch was released on March 5, 2009, and adds better PC mod support, split screen, smarter AI, forty eight attainable Trophies, server-side improvements, an improved map vote, local multiplayer, and a new user interface. Online and LAN multiplayer for this version was terminated on July 2014, following the shutdown of all GameSpy servers.
Xbox 360 version[edit]
Upon release, the Xbox 360 version had five exclusive maps, two exclusive characters, a two-player split screen mode,[8] and all the downloadable content released by Epic already on the disc. With the release of the PS3 and PC "Titan Upgrade" patch on March 5, these versions offered the formerly exclusive Xbox 360 content, as well as other content.[9] The Xbox 360 version does not support user-generated mods, as additional content has to be verified by Microsoft before being released. It is the only version to support controllers only.

My uncle let me borrow this. I've really been looking forward to playing this and have been waiting on a digital sale or a GOTY version. I couldn't wait any longer lol.
Had a couple questions. Should I play the game as is or download some of the mods (XBox One). If it's worth it what are the must have mods? Any info guys thanks a lot.
I was a Fallout 3 junkie that game stole 200+ hours of my life lol.
I'd play the game through first and then do miss. It creates a separate file for your non modded game, so there is no overlap. I loved Fallout 3 too, even though FO4 is good it's no FO3
Up to you. But like Skyrim's mods, if you want to play it with some mods that makes things easier, go the modded way. I also played F3 a ton. But after playing it so much, there is no way I'd play it again with mods. It's Bethesda burnout. The game does saves so that you can play it how you want, but activating or deactivating mods as you want in the mod menu.So I should play the game first regular with no mods?
No worries.I think I will just start the game as is no mods. I just remember reading there were some mods that made the game better as in graphics, conversation system, and a couple others. I was just wondering if the mods were worth it. I do not mind playing the game as is and working for everything. One of the fun things about Elder Scrolls and Fallout the grind never bothered me as long as the world kept me interested.
Will start the game as soon as I can this week. Thanks guys.

Anyone tried the pro patch? Supposedly draw distance and framerate improvements.
Looks like denser foliage and slightly better lighting and water as well.Anyone tried the pro patch? Supposedly draw distance and framerate improvements.
