I have a few but for some reason Sunsoft sticks out in my head. Back in the NES days I really liked The Adams Family: Festers Quest and Blaster Master.

Capcom is the first name that comes to mind. So... many... classics...

Favorites of mine are Street Fighter, Mega Man, Ghosts 'n Goblins/Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Final Fight, Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Maximo, Viewtiful Joe, and Okami.

:surprise:

Data East is one. Who did Double Dragon? Taito is a publisher, right?

Broderbund and EA. EA had some truly stellar titles. All of the Lakers vs. Celtics/Bulls vs. Lakers/NBA Live, etc for all the 16 bit machines were top notch. Then their "Strike" games.

Ocean was one of, for me, only because my father was friends with one of the devs there. He used to bring me loads of games every time he visited. I remember him bringing Thundercats (video tape) before it was aired over here. Daily Thompson and Transformers stick out though the latter games controls sucked, even back then.

Nice callout for Broderbund. EA had some nice early PC games as well - though most of what I remember was their late 80s golf game where you could create your own course and my primary goal was using a tee box next to a green and a distant par marker to set up a hole in one on a par 5.

But the clear #1 for me had to be Black Isle Studios.

I don't have the experience to remember much beyond the first playstation era. I guess if any of those count, Oddworld Inhabitants, before they reformed and just went all talk no show.

Also Raven for Jedi Outcast.

From one of the greatest star wars games to UI design for COD. What a way to go.

Yeah Raven was a great dev. Heretic/Hexen to the Jedi Outcast to the X-Men Legends/Ultimate Alliance 1, some awesome gamesgames

Also liked a few games from Rainbow Art's.

By the way did anyone ever play a game on the Amiga called North and South, Spent hours on that game with friends and family.

Never played North and South but, I remember playing "It came from the desert" on the Amiga. My buddy and I spent countless hours playing that, it seemed like an interactive movie to us at the time.

FTL Games was also one of my all time favorites. I spent a ton of hours playing Sun Dogs and Dungeon Master.
